In the late 1800s, serial adventure stories were published in installments at a penny each. They were called Penny Bloods or Penny Dreadfuls.

2019-05-01 23:56:44 +0000 UTCI'm a fan of the show, but I like supernatural horror and victorian outfits so it's a good fit- if you aren't into things set in this time I totally get it. Glad to see someone react a bit to it though! It's not my absolute favorite show, but Vanessa Ives is one of my favorite characters from most any show; she's got a lot of mysterious spoopyness to her and she dresses really well : p
