Angel S05E05 - Life Of The Party FULL REACTION

Comments

Harmony alone on the dance floor. It ME.

Melazond

I can see why people feel this way, but I honestly just love the new vibe that being in the Wolfram & Hart offices provides us, so it helps even with weaker episodes. But I also really enjoy "Just Rewards" and "Hell Bound" and find this one very funny.

Keith Allison

yeah I never liked the character. He strikes me as 'a dick in nerd-guise' if you know what I mean... πŸ˜…

This was a good episode. I especially love Positive Spike!! Positive Spike should meet up with Sensitive Angel!! πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ This episode was kind of similar to "Something Blue" where whatever Lorne says will actually happen just like Willow's spell. I like the idea of a demon manifested from a lack of sleep and how the "sleep deprived" monster was formed from Lorne's bottled up frustration (just like Angel's bottled emotions from the beginning) and the need to create some fun and excitement and I knew that it wasn't just him seeing his reflection all in his head. Some things that were similar to the "Something Blue" episode in Buffy is where Angel and Eve started making out that was almost equivalent to Buffy and Spike getting married πŸ˜‚β€¦ and I think that's pretty much it. lol But I love the Fred/Wesley scenes. They're so cute together. I miss Wesley's clumsiness and dorky-side which we hardly get to see anymore with this serious, broody side lately. Gunn peeing everywhere was just weird and disturbing but it's also funny since it's so out of character. And yes, you're absolutely right about the Halloween episode in Buffy where Spike went out during Halloween! He was probably just trying to forget that time because he never expected Buffy to snap back to her old self and kick his ass. 🀣

I actually agree. I’m surprised by how many people consider this to be the best season. There are some great episodes, sure. But there are quite a few duds too.

cil

might be in the minority but first couple episodes of this season are kinda boring. It really picks up at episode 8. I think episodes 12 and on wards are amazing

Regarding Spike and going out on Halloween; In s2 Druscilla told him that something would happen to make the Slayer weak. Spike: "Tomorrow's Halloween. Nothing happens on Halloween." Drusilla: "Someone's come to change it all. Someone new." Spike wouldn't have bothered going out otherwise.

Oh! I wasn't even thinking about the fact that Gunn pees everywhere in this episode. No, when I read your comment, my mind was on how adorable Fresley was drunk, and "Knox can piss off" caught me by surprise and made me laugh. That sucks about Jonathan Woodward.

UTU49

What cos of all the 'pee pee' in this episode?? I didn't even think of that, it wasn't an intentional pun. :D I not only greatly dislike Knox, I don't like Jonathan Woodward either. I saw him grope a fan during a photoshoot at a convention years ago. She confided in me about it afterwards, and decided to report it to convention staff but they did fuck all unsurprisingly.

Bellatronics

I laughed at "Knox can piss off". I didn't see that coming.

UTU49

I love all the Fresley moments in this too, they are adorable drunk. Knox can piss off.

ASR: "What a way to die" Traumatic for all the Elvis fans...poor Pat.

MittenCrab

"Hey, you want a piece of me, buddy? That's right. Keep walking. You walk alone! You walk alone!" best line, ever

He wrote for Firefly as well!

Cory Stanish

Omg I love this eps, love all the effects but mainly Fred and Wes, couldn't stop laughing.

Emma goldsbrough

The elevator scene with Wesley and Fred will never cease to make me laugh. β€œcome on, come on, come on”

Kelly Marie

You walk alone! You walk ALONE!!!!

Koz

This was written by Ben Edlund, possibly best known as the creator of The Tick. He really contributes to this season. He also did a stint on Supernatural. I recall one about a teddy bear that was pretty funny. (Im not rewatching)

chris bullers

This Is A Really Fun Time! ;)

Jason Veevaert

I'm really excited to rewatch this season. It's been a long time for me! I'm not sure if this is one of my favorite episodes... I'll need to wait a bit and watch more, but It's definitely one of the most memorable to me.

Miss Timi Fantastico

This episode was much better then episode 4.

Anouar

Since Lorne first appeared on the show, he has claimed that he doesn't judge and just wants everyone to get along - he even repeats that in this episode, but when his subconscious makes an appearance, he isn't so forgiving. Victim 1 is the demon in the Pylean skin suit. Victim 2 is the demon in the human skin facemask. Then he goes after the last royal demon until Angel gets in the way.

Bruce Trogdon

Fred asking Wesley β€œwhat do you think of Knox” and seeing his reaction gets me every time 😒

Juan Torres

Wouldn't you have this removed if you could? ...... enΒ·nui - a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of occupation or excitement
