I don't think it's the acting, I think it's a deliberate directing choice for the kids to be a bit odd

2019-07-15 19:42:04 +0000 UTCDog was originally a hellhound, but whatever name Adam gave him was supposed to give him his purpose. Adam named him Dog, which means his purpose is to be a dog. Now he behaves the way a typical dog would behave, rather than the way you would expect a hellhound to behave.
