Watching this episode where Sam and Dean put Abadon back together. This is the biggest Winchester mistake in the history of the show - it influences so much down the line. (season 13 SPOILERSbelow) Abadon escapes, Dean gets mark of cain to stop her, Sam removes the mark of cain, bringing Amara into the world, Cas frees Lucifer to stop Amara, Dean stops Amara from killing the world and she brings Mary back, Lucifer sleeps with Kelly, Jack is born.... That one decision has massive consequences for the rest for at least up until where Dakara is at..

I think sometimes there's a really good reason for what is done, and sometimes it's just for something they need for the show - or writer's are being stupid. lol Earlier in the season, at the beginning of the whole trials thing it was mentioned that closing the gates of Hell would also send all the demons on earth back to Hell.
