The more powerful (or in control of themselves) a Wessen is the less likely they will reveal themselves so a Grimm can see them.

2021-08-14 22:06:44 +0000 UTCAs explained before Nick can only see that they’re wesen when they woge which is usually in an emotional situation & like Monroe said other than that they’re not seen unless they want to be seen. Just like they don’t know he’s a Grimm unless they woge.
