Sure, Finn died and all, but the real tragedy of this episode is that it was a crossover, but the only TVD character we saw was Matt!!!

2019-12-23 19:55:13 +0000 UTCI do think Finn was just used by the writers as a proof of concept, But I still found his short arc this season really moving, moreso than ever... He was tormented and trapped for centuries, only wanting release, and brought back again and again, still only wanting release... And he got it, with his family... This hit me alot more than most I think as most see Finn as a bore, but he exemplifies the concept of "immortality isnt a blessing, it is a curse". So it was good to see it end this way for him
