TMI ALERT: personally I have gone 2 yrs without many times before. I started when I was 9 and am now 34... the irregularities are consistent.

2019-12-31 11:36:34 +0000 UTCThe show did play up stereotypes quite a bit at the beginning. I don't think that was one though. I know an DR doctor in Low Angeles and he said this happens more often than you'd think. It's usually underprivileged people who rarely, if ever, go to doctors.

It has this heart and soul to it that whenever i was actually feeling a little down this had the capacity to bring a little more joy.

It’s called “Hart of Dixie” because Alabama is known as the “Heart of Dixie” and the American south as a whole is referred to as Dixie. It’s play on the name. Also for the how did she not know? It’s a stereotype that everyone in the south is dumb especially in the state of Alabama. I haven’t seen the whole show but I’m gonna assume the show plays heavily into stereotypes and I can already see some here in the first episode
