2020-03-03 22:46:44 +0000 UTCThis episode reminds me of S1. I love it. I mean, I agree with you about the ending actually, but them getting high is one of my fav parts of this season. Fitz and Jemma being seperated. Just a little too much of that trope happening all the time now.

2020-03-03 08:31:54 +0000 UTCThe near misses only happened twice I believe. Last episode and this episode. I don't recall any specific near misses like that in past seasons. They get split apart other ways, but not a lot of near misses. It's definitely a trope that they're not together very much :)

Enoch was hilarious this episode, and I loved all the Daisy + Jemma stuff. You could tell they were having fun acting out those scenes. Oh and they ate the puffies because earlier they said they were running out of food (which was one reason everyone was pissed as Jemma for not going back to earth - they needed fuel and food).

2020-03-03 04:44:22 +0000 UTCThis is basically a concept episode, and a lot of people reacted the same as you, with some calling it the worst episode of the show. I think it's pretty okay. I can appreciate the obvious references and the humor, but it's definitely a different direction for the show to take. Personally, I noticed pretty quickly that S6 reminds of so many shows that I love that just continue past their prime. It's like..still entertaining...and you watch because the show has a place in your heart...but the spark is gone.

This episode is based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas so I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it as much. The budget is still low this season so they split up the cast for half the season.
