2021-11-18 22:56:03 +0000 UTCReally good reaction. Looking forward to seeing what you think of the first season. I think the not liking Bellamy right now is pretty simple. He is less a bad boy and more like someone who is just doing bad things. The Damon’s, Spike’s, and Klaus’ all do bad things and they own it and most time do it with a twinkle in their eyes. Bellamy is doing bad things as a means to an end to save himself and his sister. He sees these actions as things he has to do so it is more of a chore than a choice.

2021-11-18 22:25:53 +0000 UTCI may have mentioned this back when you did the pilot originally. The show made a few changes from when the pilot was filmed to when the show was picked up. Jasper was supposed to die in episode one. They liked the actor so much that they decided to change their plans. Kelly Hu's (Pearl / China White) character and all the Avatar-like CGI were written out for budgetary reasons.
