It was a cool idea, and it was interesting to see them explore the dynamic between Kara and Lena and the different identity reveal possibiltles. In regards to none of the scenarios working out, I get the writers were trying to make a point that no matter when Kara told Lena the truth it would’ve ended badly somehow, but they’ve been friends for close to five years, which means there are infinite possibilities for when Kara could've revealed herself, and there is no way all of them would’ve been bad. I guess I just wish more scenarios were explored somehow and maybe at least one of them turned out good. Even if Kara didn’t end up sticking with that scenario because she realizes that’s not the way to handle her mistakes, I think it would’ve made things more interesting to have a wider variety of possibilities/results.

2021-12-18 02:33:32 +0000 UTCI remember reading that they always wanted Thomas Lennon as Mxy even back in Season 2 but they couldn’t get it to work. So now in Season 5 they managed to make it happen. No idea if that’s true or not but I actually like him better here than the other actor.
