Great reaction, I love this finale, Kate and Yelena's scenes are absolute brilliance, also Kingpin is awesome as always(and not dead, if you read the comics you know what happens next), I love the heart this episode showed. Also the Ice Rink action sequence was amazing. I was so worried that Clint was going to be killed off so him being able to make it home for christmas and Kate being there too made me really happy. Also I love how the Larpers played a role throughout the series. The Clint and Yelena scene on the ice had my eyes teary lol. Somehow Jack became a character that I really liked by the end of the show. I really hope they eventually do a season 2 of Hawkeye. The one thing I don't like about this is how weak they made Kazi because he is very capable and intimidating in the comics. This show is my favorite of the MCU series. I rank them like this : 1.Hawkeye 9.5/10 - 2.Wandavision 9.4/10 - 3.Loki 9/10 - 4.F&TWS 8/10 - 4.What If 8/10 Moon Knight very much could jump to the top but have to wait and see

2022-04-05 02:27:30 +0000 UTCYeah, they are using the same actors but in a sense rebooting the characters. It's like the Netflix shows kind of happened but they're not following the events. In a perfect world, that universe would become part of the MCU but let's face it, the Netflix shows were more bloody, brutal and mature. So I guess they can't just let it be the same thing. Also yeah, the watch thing pretty much confirms AoS isn't canon, because Clint's wife was Mockingbird, instead of Bobbi.

2021-12-23 22:16:47 +0000 UTCThis is not the same Kingpin from Daredevil. The Marvel Netflix shows are not technically part of the same MCU as the movies. The same goes for Agents of SHIELD. That's why the movies have never referenced them. Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel has stated that he had nothing to do with those shows, so it stands to reason he would not reference them. This explains why the darkhold in WandaVison was not the same as the one from Agents of SHIELD. That's why even Kingpin's speech pattern is different and the way he acts. This might change if they come out and explicitly state that he is the same.

2021-12-23 09:02:26 +0000 UTCGreat reaction. I loved this episode and the whole series. It wasn't what I thought it would be, but I still loved it. That's a certain arachnid movie out lately too. It wasn't what I was expecting, but I really loved what they did with it and I would enjoy your spoiler comments put into a vid. Would be cool to hear your thoughts. Also, with regards to Kingpin. There's no way he's dead. The shot was off screen. I bet you anything in Echo they show him deflecting her arm or something. In these types of universes, they aren't dead unless you can see the body. I know that from the comics, Kingpin was never rally labeled as super human, but he had immense strength. Bending bars of steel type of strength. In one on one matches, almost nobody could overpower him. So, while the netflix series didn't really flex his muscles, I think the MCU has decided to somewhat distance themselves from the Netflix series a bit by putting their own distinct spin on Kingpin. I'm pretty sure in Echo we may gain some insight into their choice to make him stronger. It sure looked awesome to see him swat Kate like a fly and shake off an explosion like a bad drinking binge. I mean, the MCU has an amazing actor and now all that strength to add to his menace. I got to say, it seems pretty cool to me. Anyways, again, loved the reaction.

2021-12-23 07:41:39 +0000 UTCThe natural chemistry between Yelena and Kate is great. I can envisage their characters becoming the Captain America and Iron Man of the next era of the MCU. They are just great together. I enjoyed this series much more than I thought I would. I loved the relationship between Clint and Kate, Clint and his wife, Maya and her rehabilitation ready for her own series, the tracksuit mafia was just fun, the LARPers were good and make a great support cast for Kate, the Kingpin's is he/isn't he was fun as well (one of the three worst kept MCU secrets recently), Jack is just good fun, and I will say it again the mentor/mentee and father/daughter relationship of Clint and Kate was just perfect. Lastly I almost forgot Yelena and Clint was great as wel. The show was about Hawkeye and the next generation. Keep the reactions coming you do such a great job with them.

I assume that the Kingpin here is not the same Kingpin from Daredevil but more of a variant like we've seen of Loki or when JK Simmons showed up as JJ at the end of Far from home. Same actor sam character but different version.

Unless it's something to be explained later down the line, I think they've just really exaggerated his strength and endurance, which to be fair, is not too far off from the comics, but for this universe, it's probably a bit much. Maybe. We've seen human beings do some pretty ridiculous things in this world. Just look at what they did with Natasha. I really hope his "death" was just a fake out or something like that because you're right, that would've been a pretty shameful way for such an important character to be taken out.

2021-12-22 13:05:06 +0000 UTCReally loved this series! Kingpin's thing is peak physical strength bordering on super. It probably took insane strength to use a car door the way he did! Also, I don't think Kingpin is actually gone considering the gunshot was off screen. That's a classic trick. Plus the same thing happens in the comics and he just ends up blind for a while. I can already imagine the hate they'd get if they did something like that.
