The Flash S06E13 - Grodd Friended Me FULL REACTION

Greg Berlanti was the showrunner for God Friended Me. Hence all the Arrowverse stars appearing over there. Berlanti running that show is the reason a certain woman is cast in Batwoman season two (won't say more until the character appears). I wanted to love that show just because of Violet. It started off well, but that concept never really had a chance to be good for more than a season or two.

btw forgot to mention this last flash reaction. the guy sue claimed she was running from, john loring, is a reference to jean loring who was ray palmer's ex wife and sue's murderer in the comics. jean went full supervillain after the divorce. it's a big yikes. in arrowverse jean loring was the queen family lawyer who defended moira and oliver in s2 and s7. anna loring was ray's dead fiance mentioned in arrow s3 and legends s1, she died in the mirakuru rampage (i think)

allegra's actress doesnt bother me too much but shes not great either, probably unpopular but i dont really like kamilla and cisco. i liked cynthia (i refuse to call her gypsy, that's a slur) more. the title of the ep is a pun on the show God Friended Me which stars Violet Beane aka Jessse Quick! along with some other arrowverse alumni

I thought Allegra's reaction to Nash was justified. His wanting to have a relationship with her and constantly trying to interject himself into her life has come off a bit stalkerish. We know him, or at least versions of him, so we see him a bit differently. From the perspective of someone who has gone through trauma growing up and has never dealt with dopplegangers her reaction makes sense. I like her as a character though so maybe that plays into why I had no issue with her reaction. Chester, on the other hand, just annoys me.

This is a nitpick but Pied piper's escape in the intro is a little ridiculous, the force necessary to lift a humans weight ejecting from the nose would whip his head back and break his neck but even if it didn't he went through multiple layers of ceiling head first. Flashstorm is good but I prefer the name Groddspeed.

Oh yeah, totally forgot around the time season 6 was filmes Danielle Panabaker was pregnant. You'll see Frost and Caitlin wearing pretty loose clothing for the next few of their appearances.
