duele dent has existed in 3 incarnations the first was created in the 60s/70s and was the daughter of harvey dent and his wife gilda. she went by the alias Joker's Daughter and was part of the Teen Titans. the second was the daughter of the heroic Evelyn Dent/Three-Face and the Jokester from Earth-3. That version died in Infinite Crisis. And was often protrayed as mentally ill. Lastly we have new 52 Duela who was a sewer dwelling "queen of the homeless" who crusaded against beauty standards and wore the Joker's cut off face for a while, that's the version we see on Batwoman. I prefer the OG version who was a hero.

I'll say it again. I love Mary. Mary and Kamilla from The Flash are probably the two best people in the entire Arrowverse. The world would be a much better place if there were more of them around.

I'm pretty sure you missed (or didn't connect) the part about Duela Dent being Harvey Dent's neice. Luke mentioned it when Kate was searching Duela's house. Also Luke called Harvey "a beloved ADA", so maybe he's still practicing, maybe he never became Two-Face in this continuity)) Also in the various comic book runs, Duela claimed to be a daughter of a lot of different villians. She went by: Catgirl the Catwoman's Daughter, Scarecrone the Scarecrow's Daughter, the Riddler's Daughter, the Penguin's Daughter and a bunch of other aliases) The Sophie coming out to her mom was rough, reminded me about Maggie and her dad on Supergirl. The whole "They're building a wall to keep us out because in their minds, we are nothing but rapists and murderers. The only thing they hate more than a Mexicano is a homosexual" is simiar mindset to "the good lord didn't make it hard enough on you, not enough to be a woman of color, not enough to come from nothing....." I understand wanting the best for your child, but not accepting them for who they are and saying sh!t like that to them, is definately not for the best( On a brighter note, Mary is the f'n best!!! But we knew that)))

In the comics, Duela Dent goes by the name Joker's Daughter because she was mentally ill and convinced herself the Joker was her dad. There was even a point during a period when the Joker was thought to be dead where she was killing people while wearing his face, which Joker had the Dollmaker sugically remove just for s**ts and giggles
