2022-03-16 00:09:15 +0000 UTC1. Yeah like you said.. The first part of the 2 parter started off a bit fast.. But I literally just cut the "Previously on" out of it and as you have noticed.. Stargate episodes often start off with a bang and throw us right into the middle of the action 2. I mean I kinda got my idea for "Most secure base in the galaxy" from that time I made a private base on ARK... Unless you were an admin.. The ONLY way in was through the gate.. And my gate was protected with an iris.. Which you almost found out the hard way had I not been yelling STOP STOP STOP so I could open it 3. HA! YUP! EXACTLY. what I thought your answer would be on if you'd consider getting a symbiote yourself... Pretty hilarious answer too Froots.. You had me laughing out loud on this one 4. Luckily I DO remember... You did the RAWR RAWR in Part 1 as I kept it in the edited version cause we obviously can't start off an episode without you doing some adorkable shit... The episode sound was muted though cause of your headset / OBS settings 5. Yeah you can sort of gather that certain SG teams have different duties to perform.. You'd be right that SG-3 has been the diplomatic team so far on several occasions I suppose ...I imagine there's also teams which specialise in archeology and others who specialise in stealth missions ....And then there's probably the team that just has to retrieve shit from other worlds ...That last team is probably made up out of a bunch of incompetent slackers amiryt? 6. I suppose these people tranqed SG-1 so they could take them to their base without having SG-1 know the exact location plus I doubt SG-1 would willingly give up their weapons every time they encounter a new group of people 7. Sam to the Husky ("Wolf"): "My what big eyes you have" ...Turns out O'neills humour has been rubbing off on Sam yeah 8. It wasn't just SG-3 that got kidnapped.. SG-3 got sent there to negotiate the release of SG-11.. That's why the team that came out of the mist seemed so large.. It was "SG-11" and "SG-3" combined 9. Yeah I figured you wouldn't like the look of these aliens.. And I agree this wasn't the best of episodes.. It was kinda meh.. But they can't all be winners 10. The old geezer is staring in such a weird way cause he's blind ...The actor has an odd way of acting blind.. But there ya go.. There's your answer 11. Oooooooooh SNAP! Froots comes in with a dig at Hammond saying the SGC security is SHIT. ...Nice one Froots... Nice one ...It's almost like you're Sam and I'm O'neill and my humour has become yours 12. Yeah they never specified what they did with the 2nd gate until now.. You didn't miss anything.. This episode I suppose is just another continuation of previously established canon.. Some of which can sometimes potentially thread through the entire show... As I've said before.. Continuity is a GHUGE thing on Stargate 13. Little nitpick... SG-1 just went to Area 51... Area 51 is in the middle of the desert.. There are NO trees around the actual base in the real world yet here we see an abundance of green trees when SG-1 arrives at the base.. They could've done a better job at making it look like this was located in the desert 14. Soooooooo... It does appear that we have some alien tech laying around from our missions.. Apparently they're studying the Death Gliders at Area 51 and Daniel didn't end up losing all his research he got at that Tantalus place where Thor and a couple of other races liked to kick back and talk "Meaning of life stuff" cause they're researching that too it seems.. Turns out some of our SG teams aren't incompetent slackers after all 15. Teal'c: "In my culture I'd be well within my right to dismember you" Oh Teal'c... You can't dismember Maybourne... That dude already seems like a spineless dickless coward 16. Kinda meta... They're saying this fake gate is plastic... The actual mobile prop was I think mainly plastic too 17. Yeah it wasn't at all necessary to go to Madrona to dial back to Earth in order to pinpoint the 2nd gate... They could've gone to the Alpha Site or a more hospitable planet 18. You make a good point Froots... O'neill is not allowed to shoot the people who stole the 2nd gate as in "not allowed to kill them" ...So yeah... Just bring a Zat gun.. Problem solved ...Oh ok Teal'cs got it covered 19. I love how everyone is just standing there watching these 2 guys weld the 2nd gate shut... My brother in law is a welder.. If I have learned anything about welding.. It's that you DON'T look at the welding without protective eyewear
