Reason: pure disappointment.
I ordered a pack of 120 coloured crayola pencils from Amazon, I waited over a month to get. I was really excited because the last set of pencils I had, they were mostly all the same colour and I knew that Crayola was a good brand as I used it growing up.
So when they arrrived, I picked them up - put them in the car and had a spare moment to take a quick look... the package was opened... ok they probably checked it in customs...
I get home and take it out and the whole box was opened. Ripped opened with the pencils rolling around in the box, coloured marks all over the flap where it opens. Okay... customs probably went through it a bit much but fine...
I looked at the back and tried to organize them into the pencil case holder I got that holds 120 pencils... turns out I'm missing 37 pencils.
I looked at some of the bad reviews and this is a common occurance... Wasn't even customs problem, it's the seller.
I'm really upset about this. I was excited to actually use some good pencils to colour with - it's been helping me a lot with my anxiety and now I don't feel like doing anything but laying in bed.
Sorry for the long post. I'm just really disappointed.
The current pencils I have are not very good, I just wanted a pack with a wide variety of colours to use - you can only get those on Amazon here. You can only get like packs of 24 at the local shops. ANYWAY

That sucks! For future reference order from the website of the products directly (Amazon just takes a middleman fee + that company is pure evil). Also, next time you buy colored pencils, treat yourself to prismacolor pencils They blend better and have brighter colors. I found they were worth getting even when I had crayola.

For my anxiety issues, I deal with them by listening to music or audiobooks, (or watching shows and reactions). I simply can't make it through a day without my headphones. Would it be possible to get an art supply store to special order a larger variety box of pencil crayons? I'm from an older generation, and that's how we usually got less common specialty items. Most stores will only stock commonly purchased items, but they will special order items for customers who request them, since it's a guaranteed sale. I find one that has reasonable prices and talk with the manager there.
