there are a few animated shorts that show alot of the back story of before the war and how they got the info of the machines coming and how the kid got out, they were pretty good if i remember right but its been a long time. it was called The Animatrix if that sort of thing interests you.

2022-01-24 14:14:04 +0000 UTCBest memory of this movie is that I saw it in cinemas but in Quebec (french speaking). When The Merovingian goes into a rant in french, the entire cinema starting laughing and cheering. Some epic french swearing :)
