The Defenders S01E06 - Ashes, Ashes FULL REACTION

Look at what we have here their dumb plan of hiding him did nothing but serve him up to the hand on a silver platter

John Walker Is That Dude

I like that we got another scene with Matt and Jess cause they are cool together I like their dynamic, and Ironfist season 2 is so much better tahnk god. And Matt and Danny are the only ones with a connection to the Hand Jess and luke have no real stake in this but glad they found a way to include them

Whatever else can be said about this series I really appreciate the way they handled Jessica and Matthew's relationship. They were the perfect pairing for this show and seemed to have the most chemistry with each other than the other members of 'The Defender'. Though I did like Danny and Luke together as well.

Ryan, Please remove the 2nd paragraph as it contains a bunch of info about things that Shannan has not seen yet. I have informed her not to read the comments until this is removed. :)

The stunt team has said he was "too lazy", but other reports note the stunt team itself was pretty unreasonable with trying to force about a year of martial arts training onto a guy within a matter of WEEKS. The stunt team most likely just called him lazy to get the heat off of them from the initial "baptism of fire" reports. It wasn't just laziness, as Jones did improve not only from Season 1 to this show, but he was also better in Luke Cage Season 2, AND he was better in Season 2 of his own show (They even acknowledged some of the problematic white savior elements and handled his relationship to Asian culture really well. Season 2 was actually not half bad, still a bit too long though).

Inhuman Paradox

It's because the actor didn't spend the time training for the fight scenes. There's speculation as to whether he was too lazy or wasn't allowed the time but either way, the result is the character's fight scenes are lame.

If you've been reading these comments... Yes...Iron Fist in this series is LAME! In the comic books he is a MUCH MUCH better fighter! I think they dumbed down his fighting skills for the show because...well I don't know why....maybe they felt him cutting through just about everyone too easily made for boring TV? Not sure why they did it...but we all agree... he sucks! And Iron Fist was 1 of my 2 favorite comics as a kid!
