I definitely think we should have been seeing more of Yvette than what we've seen so far. If she lives with Nia, I feel like we should have at least seen her once every few episodes. Honestly, would rather replace time spent on William with time spent on Nia and Yvette.

2022-01-29 08:09:35 +0000 UTCIt's hard for people like you or me to fathom how people feel that way about trans folk, or anyone in the LGBTQ community but the sad fact is, it is a real world problem. There definitely are ignorant people in the world that would try to hurt someone like Nia and Yvette. I don't get it either. Let people live as who they are and who they want to be and be happy. It doesn't affect their lives or identities, so why should they care? But yeah, it was a typical Supergirl episode in these later seasons, dealing with these kinds of heavy issues in a superhero show. As important the issue was, I couldn't help but think well, Lex is still messing around, how about we deal with him again?

2022-01-29 02:49:02 +0000 UTCYvette was in the Valentine's episode last season. Think it was her that threw the party in Nia's apartment. It's not the same as fleshing the character out properly before this one but at least she has been seen before now.

I'm glad Nia got a storyline that relates to her being trans and that the community can feel represented though. Sidenote: that guy has to be the most pathetic villain of the week ever. Can't fight, not very smart and he's a piece of shit
