Legends Of Tomorrow S05E07 - Romeo V Juliet: Dawn Of Justness FULL REACTION

Comments

Many episode titles she considers spoilers. This goes back to an episode of Arrow titled "Deathstroke Returns" which spoiled the reveal of his return for her, and she was annoyed by that.

David Brown

Exactly! There's no WAY Mick's daughter looks 30.

David Brown

I wish you had some of these episode titles ahead of time. Seeing you react to that and trying to guess what the episode is about based on the title would be hilarious.

So on the totem pole of Laurel dying, Cisco getting rid of his powers, and now Ray and Nora leaving, how do things rank at this point? Also, now that Nora's gone, who's gonna replace Laurel for you?

Jordan St. James

I always find it a bit distracting listening to pre-modern dialogue. Not so much the accent (though you do make a good point), but the expressions and slang that they use sometimes make you question how much of it is actually in keeping with the times. I understand that it can a bit difficult to know exactly how people spoke back then considering the lack of recorded material. Still distracting at times...

Jordan St. James

We're now down to only two original Legends left on the team (not counting Gideon). One from each of the OG shows. It's almost poetic. *sniffle*

Jordan St. James

Not related to the episode itself but when you mentioned you went to an all you can eat, I couldn't help but be a bit envious. The pandemic pretty much killed buffet style restaurants out here.

oh and Lita was conceived at the reunion in 2004, not the prom in 1989. the legends had split up that episode so lita's age makes sense also she should meet lily stein, they both were accidentally created via time travel!

Tsukiakari1203

charlie, not namedroping is very un-tahani of you im sorry i needed a TGP joke love this episode though it makes me cry so much

Tsukiakari1203

wasnt it like budget cuts or something that caused them to be written off?

Tsukiakari1203

This was why they couldn't have a prolonged engagement, they had to have the wedding before leaving the show. We knew that was their penultimate episode. These first 7 episodes were all filmed before Crisis. The episode you are about to watch was the first filmed after the filming of Crisis. Crisis, and being Superman again, was the last thing Brandon filmed before leaving the show. Brandon talked with Michael Rosenbaum on his podcast show about how he and Courtney wanted to stay.

David Brown

No no. I'm know I'm right about Mick and Ali. Lita was conceived at the reunion in 2004, not at the prom in 1989. It's 2020 in the present and she's like 15-16, so 2004 is matching that and 1989 is definately not the right fit for this timeline. Hey girl, did you not hear "you have been replaced by Riverdale" joke? From Nate to "Romeo v Juliet" actors in the tavern? You didn't react at all. I thought it was funny, very meta, very Legends. Nate also said "this show had potential" about Dawn of Justness scripts) Astra is not dead, it's not like she died and her soul went to hell, she was physicaly dragged to hell and grew up there. So she's alive. Ray and Nora leaving was apparently not their decision, I think it's something to do with budget cuts. So that sucks. I loved them. But I'm glad we got Ray for as long as we got him and I'm also very happy that Brandod got to be Superman again for the crossover. With we got more time with Nora and them together. But the episode was good. I love Legends and their humour) Nate and Ray goodbye was so emotional, it gets me teary-eyed on rewatches, but the first time I cried. Even though I knew it was coming. It was announced that Ray and Nora would be leaving this season, before it premiered and before this episode it was anounced that it's their last(((

ForeverLannister

It sucked having both Ray and Nora leave the show. Brandon really wanted to stay but I guess the writers felt they did everything they could with him and wrote him out anyway. At least he got to have fun and reprise Superman one more time before he left
