Honestly I feel the same way because on how I met your mother they were already friends from the get-go I don't see the point of this rather watch the whole Supergirl series again then this train wreck (ps the arrowverse shows make the friendship more believable just saying)

This Indian? dude probably knows about how Lizzie McGuire struck out with 88 dudes after adding Ian cause the Ian thing happened in the first 2 episodes and Lizzie just said she struck out with 87 dudes... But yeah I do agree they all seem awefully chummy after only having spent 2 episodes together... It's not like they were like Ted, Barney, Robin, Lilly and Marshall... They pretty much already knew eachother basically 3. I'm not a fan of Tinder.. It's mostly just shallow people on there who swipe right judging on how you look and/or people who like to party and stuff... It might work for some people if they're lucky.. But if I were still looking.. I'd rather have a connection with someone and not feel like the first thing they thought about me had to do with the way I looked 4. I'm guessing the sex toy is big cause it has 3 motors in it? It looks clunky yeah and impractical 5. Yeah how does the sister already have a roommate??? She's literally looking at this place in the interest of renting it... You FIRST have to rent a place before you can even think about getting a roommate! ....This shit don't make no sense! 6. Yeeeeahhh.. I already knew Josh Peck was in this.. I saw him when I was checking to see if the quality of the episode was good before uploading... I haven't seen much of Drake & Josh.. But I hope he can be kinda funny like that character here ....Looks like he's a bit boring though 7. HOW LOADED IS THIS GUY?!?! ...That house looks pretty good.. It's in New York.. He's offering a year worth of rent AND 5% over the asking price?!!? From what I know houses in New York are expensive as FUCK. .....What does this guy do for a living?! Do we know?! Or is it a Barney situation?? 8. Why would a sex toy have the option to read you the news!? ...GHWAT?! What sick FUCK. gets off on hearing the news?!! 9. Yeah it's really weird that he's confiding his relationship problems to her after only knowing her for 2 episodes... How long has it been? Like a week or 2?? This would make MUCH more sense if you'd known eachother for 2 years or more and if you knew you could trust eachother 10. Ok... So Josh Peck is gonna be in more episodes.. I'd be a bit more excited if his character wasn't so boring... But yeah.. We'll see what the next episode brings I guess

2022-02-05 21:42:09 +0000 UTCI guess the fact that these characters have already just fallen into the routine of treating each other like best friends solidifies that they are a bunch of losers, so much so that they have no other friends to talk to and confide in, just strangers that they met 2 weeks ago. And... you know, it's for dramatic convenience. So that we can fall into a week-by-week, episode-by episode formula without having to rely multiple episodes worth of groundwork. Or it's just, as Deadpool would say: "Lazy writing."

2022-02-05 14:32:29 +0000 UTCMy sentiments about this show more or less parrot what everyone else has been saying. It's painfully average. I can't hate it, but it's not something that I'd ever recommend for anyone to put on their TV bucket list, at least so far. It's the kind of show that you would probably have playing in the background when you have friends over or that you would watch when you don't have to pay much attention, like when you're eating. There are maybe one or two gems in every episode, but the jokes are mostly outdated and amateurish imitations of its predecessor and other shows like, dare I say, Friends. Their attempts to modernise the style and humour are pretty much reduced to using tumblr buzzwords and millennial talk.

They said one of the people at that engagement party was dad but its kind of a cop out to introduce new flashbacks to that night.

2022-02-05 11:26:30 +0000 UTCI've effectively given up on HIMYF, like you I loved HIMYM watched every episode even that horrible finale but I just can't bring myself to watch this show anymore, I basically watched the reading of comments then skimmed through the episode to the end to see your thoughts on the episode, which I will probably do for the remainder of this series because i really don't see this getting renewed for a season 2.
