Stargirl S01E09 - Brainwave FULL RACTION

You know how Arrow season 5 swerved comic book readers with Adrian Chase being revealed as Prometheus and not Vigilante. While there was a Vigilante with the exact costume that Andrian Chase Vigilante was wearing in the comics. Who later was revealed to be Dinah's former partner/lover, who then was killed by Laurel. Yeah, so this Vigilante(Adrian Chase in the comics) was the second Vigilante. The first Vigilante was Greg Saunders, the cowboy looking fella in Pat's picture, he was actually a cowboy gunslinger in the Old West, fighting outlaws and stuff, you would've hated it)) You have seen Justice League Unlimited haven't you? He was there, white hat, red bandana coving his face, revolvers in both hands......does that ring any bells?!

no no no Niflheim (pronounced niffel-hime) is an icy realm where Helheim (hell-hime) is located, Helheim is ruled by Hel but Hel does not rule Niflheim. Niflheim is home to Naglfar (the ship of the dead, it's made from fingernails and toenails people clip, prounced nag-ell-far)) Jotunnheim (yo-tonne-hime) is where Loki is from in the marvel comics in the myths, loki's mother, laufey (pronounced law-fee), was an aesir (asgardian) and his dad, farbauti (prounounced far-baw-tee), was a jotunn (pronounced yo-tonne)

Henry wasn't sharing his power with Courtney, Shan. He was projecting his thoughts and emotions into her head. Or otherwise he connected her mind with his. It's a basic skill of telepathy. Come on, now. You've seen Heroes. Matt Parkman's done this countless times.

When Icicle and his parents praying to Niflheim, In DC Norse mythology, Niflheim is the cold, dark, misty world of the dead, ruled by the goddess Hel. It is the last of nine worlds, a place into which evil men passed after reaching the region of death. In the Marvel universe it is home of the Frost Giants and birth place of Loki. Fitting for Icicle

The Seven Soldiers of Victory were seen in their super suits in a photograph. They were also mentioned by Pat. In the comics, The Seven Soldiers of Victory, also known as the Law's Legionnaires, are a super-hero team that fought during World War II as part of the All-Star Squadron. Their adventures originally took place during the Golden Age. Their founding members were the Vigilante (Greg Saunders), Crimson Avenger (Lee Walter Travis), Green Arrow (Oliver Queen), Speedy (Roy Harper), Shining Knight (Sir Justin), the Star-Spangled Kid (Sylvester Pemberton), Wing (Crimson Avenger's sidekick/partner) and Stripesy (Pat Dugan). Crimson Avenger and Wing are the oldest DCU characters to appear on Stargirl, having debuted in 1938, 1 year before Batman. The Soder Cola brand is an actual DC Universe property, with this episode being Soder Cola's first live-action appearance. It has previously appeared throughout DC Universe comics and video games. Graphic designer Shawn McBee originally had the Seven Soldiers of Victory image in color, however, it was changed it to black and white for unknown reasons. Dr Shiro Ito and Dragon King are separate characters in the comics who menaced the JSA but are composite here. Pat remarks that that Seven Soldiers of Victory never got the recognition that the Justice Society did. Which is meta because the comics 7 Soldiers have been through so many retcons and revamps they are nigh unrecognizable in the modern day.

As a fan of the Golden Age of comics, the Seven Soldiers of Victory would make a great series or movie, especially if set during World War 2.
