To me, this episode was different enough from the one last season that it doesn’t feel too copied. This season, instead of not knowing Lex was behind anything, you get small bits of Lex’s plan that don’t make sense together until u get to this episode. That being said, I do like last season’s version better but this one was still very enjoyable

It is similar to his episode last season, but this time, he was actually present in the previous episodes, we kinda saw parts of what he was doing. Not all this horrible stuff, just some shady stuff with Brainy and Leviathan, but it was all showing him just trying to fight Leviathan and he didn't seem all that villainous. I would say this episode shows Lex's manipulations and all his strenghs better than last seasons ep. He's just savage with Eve at the end. It was awesome. We also saw a concrete timeline, and extended or alternate scenes that we already saw in episodes after Crisis. So I actually would say it's one of the best episodes this season. But I would knock it down for being a rethread, and also this season is just weaker, I cared about Liberty and Red Daugher plot-lines(I cared about Machester too, but he wasn't part of Lex's plans so I don't count it). While I don't really care about Leviathan. I'm especially not into this whole, why not do it again, everyone forgot what was in 5x01-5x08 'cause of Crisis, so let's run it back. Let's just sprinkle Lex all over it, so it will be tastier. But I gotta give it to Lex, he's like your favourite ketchup or sauce, just makes it all better)))

2022-02-20 17:58:25 +0000 UTCI like the fact that we got a Lex centric episode, after so much time not showing him. Also, it gave us more background on some of the other plot points in the season so far, as well as further illustrating how dangerous and calculated Lex really is. I enjoyed this ep!

2022-02-19 04:32:24 +0000 UTCI didn't elaborate on Dean Cain's views because I know you're not the biggest fan of politics but here we go, a quote from him: “I love the concept of Captain America, but I am so tired of this wokeness and anti-Americanism. In my opinion, America is the greatest country in history.". This was in response to a Captain America comic where Cap (well, I guess the writer) claimed that the American Dream isn't real. Oh and then Dean Cain admitted he didn't actually read the comic. He also voted for Trump and uses the fact he's recognizable as Superman to convince people they should support his views. Just fyi, I didn't do a lot of research on this, maybe I'm wrong, but I'd rather not start a political debate here of all places
