Jacinda finds a frog plushie in the box, which is near identical to Tiana and Naveen, who were transformed into frogs in The Princess and the Frog. The tree nymphs are based on two forms of nymphs from Greek mythology: The Dryads, who preside over forests and trees, and the Alseids, the nymphs of the groves; the latter alludes to the show version of tree nymphs living in a grove. Dryads, on the other hand, live in trees and take the form of a beautiful young woman. The tree nymphs of Once Upon a Time do not live in trees, but they live among them. Furthermore, dryads from Greek mythology live only as long as the tree they inhabit. This is alluded to on the show when humans destroy the tree nymps' grove and slaughter all the tree nymphs. Flora says to Gothel, "Each swing of their axe, each touch of their torch took the spirits of your sisters one by one." In addition, the tree nymphs of Once Upon a Time are said to be of eternal nature. In Greek mythology, nymphs are not immortal, but they are extremely long-lived. The episode, Flower Child, is also a fairytale rendition of the horror novel Carrie, focusing on a young woman's desire to mingle with the regular girls but ends up being betrayed and uses her magic powers to exact deadly revenge by killing everyone at the ball. A scene where Henry and Regina tour the Ithaca University was deleted from 7x20. There, Henry was supposed to meet another boy, played by Patrick Lubczyk, who played Kevin Hughes on an episode of Dead of Summer, another production by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. In the script for the scene, Henry says to Regina that this place feels good and could be a good fit for him, whereas Regina is relieved that it's just a six-hour drive from Maine. Henry tells her not to get too excited, as he still wants to check out the USC. His mother eagerly steers him toward a group of kids who are Henry's age and says that they look nice and East Coast-y. Henry thinks that they're his tour group and asks his mom if she is going to be okay. Regina replies that she'll be fine, jokingly stating that there is a group session for empty nesters, with wine. At this, Henry rolls his eyes and says that he'll meet her at the hotel. According to Leah Fong, one of the writers of the episode, Henry realizes that he can't tell the boy anything about growing up in Storybrooke, so he tells him that he is from Tallahassee. According to Adam Horowitz, the scene worked well on its own, but wasn't needed for the narrative of the episode and hindered the emotional impact of the episode because it played as a digression. However, the scene can still be seen in promotional pictures. During the filming of the scene where Tilly and Margot reunite after the Dark Curse is broken, Rose Reynolds filmed two takes of their reunion; one where she refers to Margot as Robin and another where she calls her "Nobin". According to Rose Reynolds, she "wanted Nobin to make the cut".

That's how the portal magic jelly bean was found by he's older self giving him the location of he's chance to be included in a story... IS THIS AN ENDLESS LOOP?! STORYBROOKE COLLEGE?! Excuse me hunny, now your town you created has a storybrooke college thats just magically referecned when it's convinient to the plot, that's not how this works sweetie. EMMA SAID IN 1X02 THAT THIS TOWN DON'T HAVE ANY VACCANCIES BUT IT HAS A STORYBROOKE COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY... Gwurllll... Kindgergarden - Senior Year are all placed under the same roof in the exact same place, where is the realism oh my goodess. This ella foam head bish, ALL THIS PROOF IS GIVEN TO YOU throughout this whole span of the season yet 20 bloody episodes later you're still clueless and acting like you're an actual human being and not a copycat princess from 2.0 enchanted forest wannabee Ashley like- Open your damn eyes lady. Henry's belief was very floppy, in one episode he belives & develops a strcutured planned out board filled with potential fairytale characters to he's knowledge than when Regina tries to go above and beyond he suddenly doesn't believe like whaaaa, LEGIT FLYING GLASS SUDDENLY FLEW INTO YOUR HEART & YOU STILL HAVE THE AUDACITY TO THE AUDACITYYYYYY TO SAY MAGIC IS NOT REAL... I hated characters playing the bimbo blinded card of being non-believers, in the season 1 curse snow, charming, ruby etc DIDN'T BREAK CHARACTER and no matter what didn't believe Henry with he's fairytale belief which made it realisitc but this season they keep flip flopping between believing than not believing an episode later no matter how much proof is being presented to them, like open your eyes please it's literally being presented with you with all the proof via a silver platter... JUST PLUCK IT OUT and WAKE UP or stop flip siding between believing and not believing cause it be damn frustrating. Gothels curse brought y'all back in time... Lets hold it there sweetie and take it back a notch... DRIZELLAS CURSE... NOT GOTHEL... DRIZELLA... I know the snob princess left like 8 episodes ago but she still exists & hasn't faded away from existence. Drizella took inspiration from Regina in getting revenge and casted a curse in order to get revenge from Rapunzels abuse she inflicted upon her. This was the whole purpose of Drizella being the big bad of Season 7 and now suddenly instantaneously it was Gothels curse yet Drizella collected all the ingredients legit forcing Regina to be the eighth ingredient... GOTHEL JUST STOOD THEIR LIKE A STATUE WHILST THE CURSE WAS BEING CAST... If anything Regina sweetie it was YOU & DRIZELLA WHO CASTED IT... Gothel was a supporting player just benched on the side line pulling out seducing catch lines to Hook... Remember when going back in time went against the laws of magic... Remember when the laws of magic were actually crucial & actually had an INFLUENCE TO THE CHARACTERS, STORYLINE & PLOT. They were the time travel law in 3B with the whole second half of the season involving Zelena seeking revenge from her abandonment issues collecting all of her ingredients which FAIR PLAY... The only reason time travel wasn't accomplished was because no human known to woman or man were successful enough with accuracy in obtaining these ingredients plus Snows baby was the key... Have no clue why considering Neal is not even special & is just a regular baby... Why not Alexandra or Baby Phillip like i am confusion... Anyways beyond the point: So technically there are 4 different time lines.... First of all there is the Hyperion Heights storyline where apparently everyone was sent back in time to that specific time line or something leaving behind their homeland which is some time in the future considering that curse transported them to the past where Henry is still in high school and Robin is probably like what... 5 years old? This subconciously means that enchanted forest 2.0 is still in actual PRESENT day time to where Drizella and Anatasisa gwurllll are so Emma, Snow, Charming could very much travel to said Enchanted Forest 2.0 and question the disapperance of Regina, Henry, Rumple, Zelena & Robin and probably even Belle considering Rumple never returned home to Storybrooke after having the burial/funeral service with GIDEON WHICH BARE IN MIND WHERE IS GIDEON? Does rumple not remember having a second son because there hasn't been any refernece of Gideon since 7x04 Beauty which i find rather unusual and odd... THE CHARACTER COULD'VE HAD SO MUCH MORE MEANING AND WE COULD'VE EXPLORED GIDEON IN GREATER DEPTH... If they can have grown up Robin as a character than Gideon, Baby Phillip, Alexandra & Baby Neal or even ROLAND should've had key roals being all grown up. We know their backstories or at least their relevancy & their character background being in the family bloodline of classic fairytale characters, it would've been so interesting considering they're not actual disney characters so more LGBTQ representaion could've been implemented, more romance and possibly better ships aswell! Belle passed on in a different time line aswell way in the distant future where time moves differently as Reginap phrased "a blink in the eye for us... But you Rumple lived a whole lifetime with belle" IT MOST CERTAINLY IS DIFFICULT TO COMPREHEND THAT ONE! Plus Gothels Homeland is 1000 years before the actual events of the whole show? She's not older than the Black Fairy so like- The black fairy created and birthed dark magic, she is the vessel of it yet Gothel has the ability to use dark magic involved around Telekinesis & Phytokinesis which technically are still both forms of dark magic so- NOW THERE ARE TWO ZELENAS? An hyperion heights Zelena who now has reloacted to San Francisco to live her happy ending with her fiancee Chad however her daughter is still in Hyperion Heights and now remembers her actual identity... Either Robin needs to travel by plane to San Francisco to give Zelena notice and update her about the curse or they're going to totally scratch that and just pretend Zelena aka THE WICKED WITCH is not getting married at an irl location/destination, they need Zelena to come back because i have no interest in having double ganger characters. Still have no idea how actual Zelena was able to communicate with 2.0 Blind Witch, Hansel & Gretel conisdering they're all from a seperate bloody book but ALRIGHTY. If Hyperion Heights is a city of the past than that also means going outside the boundaries of the curse means they enter present day time right? If they exit the boundaries of the curse in which we haven't seen any affects or consequences over what happens when a fairytale cursed character steps outside the boundaries of hyperion heights which i find ridiculous they haven't explored they considering we are all curious... All was said was that characters get "pushed outisde the boarders" they would mean Zelena & Robin would forever be cursed maintaing their cursed personas outside the boarders forever... Even Prince Nerven & Dr Facilier but that's not the case so like wtffff.. A whole chunk of characters weren't actually cursed or were woken up so randomly it didn't feel like a strong curse unlike season 1 where Regina & Rumple were the only ones awake in the flesh & struggled to obtain magic! So now technically there are actually double gangers of all the characters considering Emma is still pregnant with our ACTUAL hook in present day form in another book where Drizella could access that storybrooke via entering a portal considering now she is in present day. So now Emma isn't pregnant and is still only married to Killian, baby doesn't exist now... I AM CONFUSED, the writing is a big ol' mess! Where are Snow & Charming, did the irl couple have no time to make an appearance or have an episode dedicated to them like Emma, Belle & Zelena had? They have been referenced multiple times but never featured. Whilst i admit. Snow & Charming became bland, weak, stale... They over stayed their welcome by Season 5-6 especially Snow oh my goodness.... I never DID NOT ADMIT that the characters needed a starring role, not a series regular because they really nailed the supportive parent figure role & were great backups to when Emma needed help with a battle or accomplishing a task but actually had no relevance to any plot point from Season 5 onwards but just being supporting players to their daughter... Still, they a least deserve an episode to us to learn where the iconic lovebirds are now & what happened to them & their son Neal! They were our first well fleshed out love story, we rooted from them in Season 1, their love story was so intriguing because the writers and prodcuers actually invested time & creativity to the couple. They deserve an update episode or something but perhaps the irl couple had no time considering they're new founded parents to like three kids. Also what on earth happened to that special 3 episodes spin off that was suppose to feature forgotten, left out of plot & unknown characters that was an hour long legnth that was suppose to feature characters like - Aurora, Mulan, Maleficent, Lilly, August, Ashley, Mad Hater, Sidney & Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Ariel & Arthur & Hansel/Gretel? UNDERRATED CHARACTERS DESERVED LOVE TOO! So many unanswered questions in regards to mysterious or unsolved/unresloved questions we all need answers too but will probably never get SADFACE... Such a massive peepoSad WISH RUMPLE SOMEHOW MAGICALLY TELEPORTED HIMSELF TO A CITY THAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT BACK IN TIME YET HE EXISTS IN A WISH REALM CREATED BY A EVIL QUEEN I- ..... WE- . THEY-. THEM- wtf? I'm very excited to see the reasoning for this. Anyways, it has been a pleasure watching you react to these episodes from Season 1 to Season 7. Hopefully you enjoyed your experience which i assume you have but still. Thank you for choosing to react to this show, very grateful and appreciate you contributing your time and fitting this show into your schedule, it's helped me out mentally and emotionally dealing with irl struggles so once again, very appreciative & i'm super keen in witnesssing the last two episodes it's been a wild ride watching alongisde you & can't wait to watch more reactions with you considering i became a pateron supporter for once upon a time but i think i'm going to remain here and watch other reactions too, good luck with the series finale! I got a pretty good idea on why they didn't have the budget to create a good looking gingerbread house.. It's probably also the reason why most of the OG actors left the show before this season even started.. The studio just couldn't afford to have them around anymore as they buckled under the pressure of having to cut corners cause of the devestating Jerry Curl incident of 2013 3. Honestly.. Henry is sounding like a psycho right now.. Ella should be thinking "Hold up.. Did this dude influence my daughter with these hocus pocus stories? ...I think I should probably call the police or something" .....But nah.. This bish kinda stupid.. So ofcourse she'll end up believing him ..Plus it's like you said... TV Show gotta TV Show ...But in the real world.. The place where this supposedly takes place... Hear me out.....it would not have been so repeatable, 'cause OUAT repeated itself almost every season, and by season 7 it was toooooo muuuuuch, but by season 4\5 it would've been alright, a new spin, new tales, new characters, I can dig that, I can get behind that, get some POC and LGBTQ+ representation they deserve earlier, and not after 6 years of not doing it and being criticized for it showrunners!!! Seasons 4 thru 6 had some of the worst storylines in the show, like season five's Dark Swan and Dark Hook were poorly executed(I liked them, but even I can admit it), we had two Merida episodes that season, unnecessary Ruby Dorothy femslash fanfic for an episode, a Hercules one off and a bunch of needless stuff in the underworld. In season 4.....why was Will there? Will Scarlet, do you even remember him? He was a regular that year, all he did was bang Belle, while she was still technicaly married to Rumple I'm pretty sure. Also why did season 4 and season 5 did the same twist with Rumple turning bad guy. I love Rumple, but, it's was the same storyline, it didn't have to be, they did not need to do it twice. Season 6 is a mess. Regina did not need her Evil Queen doppelganger storyline at all. And that Last War with White Walkers, I mean, the last war with Black Fairy stuff was so last minute rewrite, so tacked on without any set up. And Gideon was so bland. And don't talk to be about hand shaking overacting with Emma. You would not be so sick off the Charmings if we would drop them from the narrative a couple of seasons ago, and maybe they just would be like a guest characters a couple of times during the season. And don't even start me on Robin Hood Sr. I could go on.....but I just wanna say that I liked season 7, I wish we got this stuff earlier, and given these new characters at least a couple of seasons to flourish.....and maybe, get Ivy and Henry together and kill off Jacinda, oh my god she's horrible!!! And they are so bad together, did they not do like chemistry test or smth?! I loved your idea about doing something with the cursed memories like the magnificent season 4 of AoS did with the Framework, like imagine if Lucy and Jacinda loved both Henry and Nick after they woke up? Like if Nick was a legit good guy and a good father because of his cursed memories and he spent years loving his family and his family loving him, but because of his previous memories bleeding in, he started killing folks, it could've been treated like a mental problem, kinda like what Fitz had with the Doctor. I don't know. In a couple of years after Disney runs out of stuff to reboot, maybe they will give this another go, I'll watch it)

2022-02-22 03:16:05 +0000 UTCThe ending feeling tacked on, IMO, is possibly because this was probably the first episode written when they found out they were canceled. Everything the creators were saying in interviews before it was cancelled, you could tell they were hoping they could still continue this new era of the show for more years. I think originally, either Facilier was originally planned to be the antagonist of and possibly defeated in the S7 finale and tease a new S8 plot , or do what they did with Jekyll and Hyde and set up Facilier as the next major antagonist in the S7 finale. But when they found out they were cancelled, they realized they couldn't do that and had to get rid of him.

He says he created memory potion by distilling some of Nick's blood, which means he could have used that process THIS WHOLE TIME. Regina and Zelena had been given memory potion, too, so Rumple could easily have used their blood to distill more memory potion. Yet he didn't. He manipulated everyone around him by being awake when they were not. He took the magic Regina had procured from Facilier for no reason. Worst of all, for me, is that Hook and Alice could have known who they were all along and because the poison in Hook's heart was inert in the Land Without Magic, he and Alice could have been living as father and daughter like they never were able to before. But noooo, other people being happy and not kept in the dark wouldn't give him any advantage or serve his own interests, so he let people remain oblivious and in danger. And he still has the gall to present himself as doing the right thing. God, he's the worst. I do also agree with you about how the curse was broken. I think it would have been a lot more meaningful if it had been Hook and Alice who did it. Not that it wasn't meaningful with Henry and Regina, but they'd already done it once before. With how literally heartbreaking the individual curse put on Hook and Alice was, it would have been beautiful to see their love break it. Missed opportunity IMO.
