1. Ofcourse you would be Harley Quinn! Perfect alter ego Froots! Fits you very well! ...added later... You'd also be a good Buffy Summers yeah!
2. HA! ..Yeah I agree.. If wanting to rewatch an EPISODE... It's completely fine to skip the episodes preceeding it... But rewatching an entire SHOW to me is a different matter ..Aaaaand I'm pretty sure you know which show I'm talking about Froots
3. Ok you didn't get the joke dum dum... I meant.. If I start humming the theme song to Atlantis.. It might lead to you requiring therapy.. And the question was would you be out of said therapy by the time you'd get to watching Atlantis
4. It was really uncharacteristic of Hammond to dismiss Teal'cs request to go back to the planet yeah... Had Hammond just been doing what Hammond does then we wouldn't have had the need for a 2nd part
5. Yeah Froots... Daniels long hair is gone.. He absolutely got a haircut ...The real world reason is that Michael Shanks was in a Hamlet play at the time and cut his hair for that role.. He notified the producers but they didn't really incorporate it into the show in any way
6. The Tok'ra.. Let's call her Elle'n.. Cause.. Why not... Elle'n Probably didn't tell O'neill and them that she was Tok'ra since the writers probably hadn't come up with this yet
7. Hell yeah Froots.. If you're in on helping Teal'c to free his people.. I'll be there right beside you... Let's show those snakes who they're messing with.. Tap Shak Amel! WE die free! ....Or like.. How about.. I dunno.. We don't die?
8. Now.. I dunno about these dumbass Goa'uld... But if I was in charge.. I'd have security around that huge power source and also a shield around it to prevent any sabotage ....But.. We're nearing the end of the episode.. And like we saw in the previous episodes they ceebed on recreating the entire SGC so obviously they lacked the budget to hire proper security ...I wonder if it had anything to do with curls ....Jaffa curls? ...I'll stop ..Maybe
9. You see a picture of Sha're on Daniels desk: "Not really sure how he took that picture.. But" ...Well Froots.. Normally one takes pictures with something called a "Camera" ...But in this case it was probably taken with a camera
10. It alright Froots... You're not supposed to get the Jaffa joke.. It's seeing Teal'c laugh and then realise that nobody gets the joke.. That's supposed to be the funny part to the audience .....But if I'd have to hazzard a guess... We've seen many Serpent guards before (the guys with the snake helmets) and some Horus guards (the jackal looking helmets) ...We have however not seen any Settesh guards.. They're probably the worst out of the 3 forms of guards so that might be why their nose would bleed while the other 2 are depicted as more heroic
11. Yeeeaahh.. Normally someone who gets hit with a Zat would be twitching on the ground.. But this dude just walked that shit off... Kinda odd ...That dude is one tough son of a..
12. Same... Cult stuff isn't really my thing either.. Hence not many of these notes are about the Seth episode
13. Nah... Both these episodes were kinda meh.. The Seth one even more so than 3x01 ...The best part honestly was the Teal'c joke

This episode was filled with bad writing and all sorts of plotholes. The story line with Jacob and his son Mark and the parallel between the random guy and his kid were completely unneeded. It was all solved without a single word spoken between the two. If it was that easy, was it really a big rift? Did it really need to be part of the story? Couldn't the writers have given that time to actually show the true effects of the zat guns?
Why wasn't Jack affected by the "spell"? Could have taken a second to attempt to explain that. Is it because Jack was taken over the previous episode? Maybe it will play a part in future episodes. I honestly don't remember. It's been over a decade since I last watched this season.

I had a few issues with this episode.
Seems inconsistent on the zat gun. Any other time it knocks you out but the first time it is used here it didn't even knock the guy down to the floor.
Also, why would Seth have zat guns around. They are the one weapon that can free his servants from his control. Better to just use regular guns.
When SG1 shot the whole group at the same time, all three shot at same time. How did they ensure someone didn't accidentally get shot twice and killed?
At least this time they fell to floor for a second, when Jaffa get shot they are unconscious for hours.
