haha pretty sure my bottom broke a wooden spoon or 2 in my youth. Also wasn't uncommon in school either to get a paddling

I'm not talking about punching them or using a blunt object or something that would really injure them. I just mean a slap or something that would only hurt for a short time. It was used to let the kid know to never do what they did again. I'm not saying it's right and I don't want to start a whole debate on it. I'm simply saying that your shock at the idea of it was a bit amusing to me, because when I was a kid there was definitely that fear that most kids had of their parents smacking them that made them think twice before doing something really bad.

I remember people thought I was 16 when I was really 12 because I was so tall and hit puberty so fast. Had to wear baggy clothes just so guys wouldn't stare at me. Anyway never seen this show in the entirely so this should be interesting.
