Clarke's line to Abby "You may be the Chancellor, but I'm in charge" is one of my favorite scenes from the first 2 seasons. I love how badass it makes Clarke look. She followed that up with a stupid decision. Telling Emerson he had to make the run back to Mount Weather in 6 hours is dumb. It may sound badass, but her plan doesn't work unless he makes it back alive.

2022-04-22 17:44:58 +0000 UTCTorturing someone often gets them to tell you what they think you want to hear. If you're torturing a soldier who is extremely loyal to his people, all you'll likely get out of him is info that doesn't turn out to be true. Heck, he could easily send them into a trap.

2022-04-20 08:18:00 +0000 UTCThey were decontaminating them, blasting them with boiling water. dousing them with decontamination power, putting the tracker in their arms with the long needle then just painfully scrubbing them down so nothing from the outside is on their skin. I hate seeing the scene with Bellamy hanging upside down like that, mostly because during filming, there were times Bon would have to wait for the actress who plays Maya to hurry up and say her lines but then the actor who played Lovejoy kept on missing his cue so they would have to do that scene over and over a few times but the worse thing about that is the director that was filming this episode would just keep Bob hanging there between takes for long periods of time so much so that it would get dangerously close for his health. I don't think that Clarke and Abby were being weak at all especially because they know that torture wouldn't work at getting Emerson to talk, yes torture works for the grounders but that's not how it works for the sky people. Lastly, I love how after Bellamy is done with strangling Lovejoy to death, he looks up to see Maya standing there traumatized by what she's just witnessed and goes over to immediately ask if she's okay whilst placing a hand on her shoulder in comfort. I also have to applaud Bob's acting with how he managed to react with no pain on his face as Maya was taking the tracker out of Bellamy's arm. That always amazes me.

Plus, imagine if her mother followed the single child law. No Lincoln. No grounder cultural knowledge. Not a single grounder ally. The 100 would have been dead before the ARK even made it to the ground.
