I wanted to talk about this episode cuz this made me mad, all of the wells that we knew and loved throughout the show had died to get Barry’s speed back and ending up bringing back the old speed force back and it felt like they basically died for nothing

Season 6 should have stuck with Bloodwork. He was a better villiain.

I think Eva's arch is the worst one we've had on this show so far. At least we could laugh at how over the top American Pie was. I found that this story dragged on for too long and wasn't ever that interesting.

This was by far the worst episode of the Flash in my opinion. It almost felt like a bad parody of the Flash.
From all the Wells’ sacrifice being for nothing to Iris being an actual “lightning rod” to the season villain being talked down by Iris while Barry was unconscious. I could go on and on about the insane choices this episode made.
Like many have said, whether or not you agree with the actors firing, the way Ralph’s departure was handled was truly disrespectful to the character.
Sidenote: That near perfect American accent from Shan came out of freaking nowhere like what???

Iris was a repository of Speed Force energy; every zap from touching Barry stored more in her, allowing the Team to recreate the natural Speed Force trough the Artificial Speed Force machine and restore speed to the Multiverse's speedster.

Risking losing an advertiser or two just to bring a character back to write them off seems like way too much risk for very little reward. That's just bad business.

Cisco using a device that mimics his powers is so stupid like why give them away in the first place and I don't care about allegra she was very annoying and you expect me to care about the relationship with the wells even though she was mean to him at every point yeah like no you're not going to care about this character I hate her she should leave the show forever and the reason why Ralph left because he got fired for tweets that posts 10 years ago and it's racist sexist and just hurtful and that just stupid he is different person now

It would've been so easy for the writers to give Cisco his powers back. Blame it on Crisis. The Monitor gave it back to him anyway. If that's not good enough, blame it on Oliver rebirthing the universe and the changes that came with that. Overall, I think Season 6 had good intentions, but poor execution. The writers did have to change things due to the pandemic, but Season 6B's story was dragged out too much (Barry without speed, Iris trapped, and Eva as a villain).

I still feel like it was too extreme. They could have at the very least have the actor back for an episode or 2 to have a proper sendoff. He made stupid mistakes a decade ago, he shouldn’t have to be punished for the rest of his life for them.

Yes, he should get consequences but being fired for decade old tweets? That’s just overreacting. He obviously changed for the better and is a different person now. He shouldn’t have been fired. At the very least they should have had the actor back to have a proper exit.

They have advertisers they have to answer to.

They really didn't handle Ralph's exit well at all. Whether or not it was right to fire the actor is one thing (personally I think it was a bit of an overreaction), they definitly could've handled the character's exit much better.
And with the end of this episode season 7 officially begins, as does the utilisation of what the Flash fandom not so lovingly calls the speechforce. Pretty underwhelming to just kinda talk the Mirror Monarch out of being the bad guy. I'm glad Barry is truly back now and that this story arc has finally come to an end because, oh man, it was a good few episodes too long imo.
The fight scenes this episode were pretty good, not as good as last episode's, but still quite alright. I am just an absolute sucker for when the show goes all schmoopy in regards to Barry and Iris so the flashbacks when Iris helped Barry recreate the speedforce did get me even on a rewatch. Actually maybe moreso on this rewatch.

The actor who plays Ralph was fired because of old tweets he made over 10 years ago that surfaced online where he made alot of inappropriate jokes about women and other things. I personally believe it was so long ago that he shouldnt have been fired. This show is about forgiveness but they fail to practice what they preach.

They had alot of limitations bc of covid. I see it as them quickly wrapping up this story.
