Man I hadn't seen this one in so long but damn that last 20 minutes still gets me like it always does. Gives me the feels bigtime.

Apparently I'm the only one cynical enough to assume that the ceremony to get equal rights wasn't so much a victory for Johnny, as opposed to the result of some kind of government action declaring that he needed to pass citizenship tests because his parts were made in Japan and China. :)

2021-04-08 01:24:04 +0000 UTCAs an adult, I understand that they wouldn't make Johnny 5 a citizen with equal rights. But when I saw this as a kid, I totally bought it and loved it. Still do, through nostalgic eyes. Always loved the last moment before roll credits.

2021-04-06 02:18:28 +0000 UTCI love these movies, but I love 2 the most. My favourite line would be Ben's, "This is battery fluid, he is bleeding to death". 2nd best use of "Holding Out for a Hero". The best use of it would be in another comedy of the time for a similar scene. If you know, you know. Wouldn't want to spoil if it ever gets picked.

It's got way more heart and soul (heh) to it, and I love how they go into what it means to be alive. Lots of great quotable lines in this one, but I think "Ko Derf" is my fav. Best use of "Holding Out For a Hero" in my books - this is where I first heard that song. Anyways, I'm really glad you liked it. Don't think I've seen anyone else react to this series!
