I don’t cry at many tv show. Could probably count the number of times I have on my hands. I cried at that scene when I first saw it and still tear up when I see it. Jon Bernthal portrayed that scene perfectly: watching a broken man remember his last happy memories with his family only to remind himself of his guilt and come crashing back to reality. So sad and gut wrenching. The whole episode was a masterpiece but that scene was absolutely beautifully sad. Perfectly encapsulates the Punisher
