Retrograde amnesia is a bitch. Cause it is entirely unpredictable how it works. Like, there are people who have forgotten every single detail of their lives prior to what gave them amnesia but because of how the brain stores information, they can still use and understand language as normal and still know how to recognize the outside world. They can hear a car engine, smell diesel and watch a car drive by and they will still be able to recognize it all, despite not having a single active memory of having ever seen or heard or smelled a car. The brain is weird, man.

2024-02-08 09:08:51 +0000 UTCYes, I knew the amnesia thing would be an issue for you. My father had heart failure resulting in severe damage to his brain. As a result he lost a large portion of his long term memory and his short term memory did not function well either.

2021-05-10 23:01:12 +0000 UTCI have been waiting for this one. This episode finally fixes the biggest problem I had with the first season: the awkward separation of the cop/grimm sides of the show. Now with Hank on board, that is no longer an issue, and the episode's stories can flow a bit more smoothly, IMO.
