Honestly, when the girl told Henry that she wasn't into him, for a bit there, I thought she was gonna reveal that she was into girls herself. Lol I have to agree that the narrative of confessing one's feelings only to find out that the other person doesn't feel the same way might have been more... as you said, relatable, I suppose. I also found it interesting that if that were the case and after their memories were wiped clean, a different outcome resulted from different circumstances. But I also think that the reveal of Emma's manipulation was kinda cool too.
