2021-08-30 12:38:00 +0000 UTCOk you mentioned how the Stargate effect looks like water well that is because it is actually water, the guy who created that effect filmed water being hit with a burst of air. He was also fired from the original movie TWICE, once because the director of the original movie wasn't happy with the effect and then was re-hired because the directory changed his mind about the effect then was fired again because they didn't like the effect of the wormhole as they are traveling through it

RDA was as awesome as I remembered him from MacGyver. I liked the character of (ok I had to look up her name) Samantha Carter. Could have sworn I recognized her from somewhere else, but didn't see anything familiar on IMDB. Looking forward to more!

Carter(Amanda Tapping) was Naomi on SPN which is probably where you remember her, Daniel(Michael Shanks) was Hawkman on Smallville, and Major Samuels(Robert Wisden) played Gabe Sullivan(Chloe's dad) on Smallville...Update: just saw you look up that Carter was Naomi.
