2022-09-11 15:22:50 +0000 UTCI wouldn't mind the new curse because I do think it's a unique take on it... except for the fact that they established in S4 that you can't be put under a sleeping curse if you already had before. Edit because I just realized something worse about this continuity mistake.. The writer for this episode co-wrote the S4 episode that established it.... The sapling, just like the idea of The Author raises the question of free will. Snow and Charming were destined to be true love before they knew who each other was? Generally, I'm also never a big fan of these types of "These characters met before they knew each other" stories either.

2021-10-18 18:36:38 +0000 UTCI actually don't mind the new curse on Charming & Snow however, I do understand that it is being very repetitive now. But then again literally every season is repetitive: New curse; forgotten memories; Charming & Snow being split up in some way or another; a villain trying to ruin everything; Regina or Emma being pulled into darkness and most of the time, it makes no sense. I will say the one thing that really annoys me is how love is portrayed in this show. I mean they said the Sapling was born from true love, and yet it was born long before Charming & Snow ever kissed or even met properly. I know this is all about fairy tales and happily ever afters, but it's a little ridiculous.
