Even though they hinted at it during the episode, I was still shocked when the mom died. It was a real The Body moment with Beth finding her. The mom had her faults, but I quite liked her character and how supportive she was of Beth.

2021-10-25 08:55:23 +0000 UTCwhen you want to leave comments, but you realize almost everything you want to say can be seen as a spoiler. so I'll have to wait a bit, and do so when the spoilerish moments have happened! (If I remember by then hahaha) But the guy at the zoo was the Russian. I really liked her mum, so I was sad to see her die in this episode. Beth doesn't have many people in her life, so only really has her mum So it'll be interesting to see how she will manage now.
