Ya, there are two ways to view the montage. Either it's someone's life flashing before their eyes before they die or it's her conquering Vecna's control by overpowering it with powerful memories of love and friendship. From all the reactions I've watched, a slim majority thought it was powerful thoughts while a good number felt that it was her last fleeting memories before death. The scene, no matter which side you fell on, was a damn nail biter though and brought a surprising (or maybe not so surprising) number of reactors to tears. Probably one of the best scenes in the show or of any show lately.

2022-07-19 09:49:27 +0000 UTCI really love Max, alot of people didnt even realize how much they liked max until they thought she was about to die. I was so sure she was going to die in the montage of flashbacks but im so happy she didnt. Shes one of the best characters.
