These people in the US at least, can compartmentalize obvious wrong doing, plot holes in their "news" media consumption as long as at the end of the day they can feel like they are winning or as they like to say "own the libs"...that is all it boils down to, not justice, not honor, not "do your own research", none of what ever talking points they like to pretend they stand for...it is just about winning whatever they've been told they are winning. One day they put pro police propaganda stickers on their cars, the next they are literally killing police at capitol building, whatever form "winning" is perceived as, they will cheer.

2022-07-14 02:50:21 +0000 UTCTo me Homelander was even more scary this season with him caring less what people thought, but in that finale ending when he killed that guy & got cheered, he now knows that he truly can 'do whatever he wants" & still get the love he craves. i think in season 4 we may get a Homelander with no more boundaries & he will be his most dangerous & scary

2022-07-13 19:43:26 +0000 UTCThe ending scene to me is I think a commentary on a comment made by a US politicians a while back played out on screen and people cheered for it. I think there will definitely be people who would be like this crosses a line but its also believable that some people would be okay with it. Some people are probably cheering out of fear too. Also your voice doesn’t sound bad just a little deeper than normal

I had also heard theories about Stormfront being Homelanders mother, and I can definitely see them doing that. Ryans twist was interestingbut the questionis do they have enough time to go down these new roads before the end of the series. .Ryan would need to age up to be a threat on the level of Homelander.

2022-07-12 20:14:50 +0000 UTCThat ending was not what I expected to happen, but man do I love it. Ryan getting corrupted by Homelander was bound to happen the moment Butcher pushed him away. Honestly this was just a tremendously good finale over all and it honestly gave Homelander layers I did not think he legitimately had. Like I am really not sure how much of what he does and says around and to Ryan is actually legitimately what he feels. But clearly there is some genuineness there, as his interactions with Soldier Boy showed. I also wonder whether Maeve's stunt with the metal rod actually permanently damaged his hearing on the left. Speaking of Maeve, man that was one hell of a sacrifice play but in the end she got what she wanted. She is now rid of her superpowers. Wonder if that is it for now with her character, or whether the showrunners have something else already planned for her. Starlight being able to fly with enough lightsources nearby was fucking awesome, no other way of saying it. Makes you wonder what else she might be capable of doing with her abilities.
