1. While it wasn't stated in the episode I think.... Pat WAS right.. Junior has been known to protect Teal'c from a lot of stuff and/or heal him much more rapidly than any of his SG-1 teammates ...It'd been nice though if they stated that this is why Teal'c was allowed to go home so quickly ....Then again... Teal'c was also a First Prime for a fuckton of years and is more than likely much more capable of getting over the psychological effects of that depression inducing light than a normal human would ...It probably takes a lot of mental willpower to become the strongest Jaffa warrior and be the right hand of a "god" 2. Nope... You still pronounced "Brigadier" wrong ...SMH 3. As the comments most likely already have stated.. General Ryan is an ACTUAL General in the U.S Air Force ...He may or may not have been on set cause SG-1 (the show) has advisors from the U.S Air Force to help vet them on portraying the Air Force in a respectable manner (side note: This is also where part of the Stargate conspiracy theory has it's roots ...A TV show about a secret program run by the U.S needing input from the U.S military??? Are they trying to cover up a real life stargate program????) 4. Yeah a teacher shouldn't tell their students to stay silent.. They should encourage them to find problems, point them out and they should listen to them if they have any ideas on how to fix the problems 5. Given the right set of circumstances (and it'd have to be set JUST right) ...A moon in the right orbit around a planet while ALSO in the right orbit around a star (like our sun) COULD be viable for life ...As in there could potentially be trees and stuff on said moon that could produce oxygen to make life (as we know it) possible ....Again.. We're talking about the right set of circumstances ....OUR moon would not be capable of such a thing as far as I'm aware ...And we're also talking about life as WE know it.. Life can exist on other worlds / moons / in space in a number of ways 6. You're right.. The episode (4x19) IS a bit slow.. I'm 20 minutes into the actual episode and nothing really interesting has happened yet ...Like... Carter hasn't even taken that young cadet to the SGC and off-world yet ...This is gonna be a toughy to edit ...Same pretty much with 4x20 I can already tell cause I didn't really like either of this weeks episodes ....10 Seasons plus several spin-offs and TV movies... They can't all be winners ...Oh I just finished typing this and the cadet has arrived at the SGC 7. You said you were wondering where Daniel was during 4x19... Hammond said in the beginning of the episode that Daniel was off-world with SG-11 ...No other information was given but I'm guessing he's at another off-world dig site 8. Since you didn't understand ...I'mma dumb it down for us... You're gonna love this ...The light bugs became violent cause the moons position around the planet was right above that planets north pole.. Which for some reason increased the magnetic pull the planet had on the moon ....Why did the bugs become violent??? ....Waaaait for iiiiiiittt.... MAGNETS!!! (O'neill should've seen this coming and we should've too) 9. Given you DO say you love the show and given we are now basically 4 full seasons in ...I'll ask the obvious questions and I'll give you my own answer after ....Who is your favourite character so far? ...Do you have one.. Or multiple? ...And why? 10. Yeah obviously I couldn't put scenes off 4x20 IN the intro cause knowing you.. And I know you well.. You'd try to rewind and figure things out... So I took some older pictures of the cast and certain cool scenes ...Plus a picture of Chaka during his "Is he pooping?" scene... Also.. Note I replaced the DC logo above STARGATE SG-1 with an ASR one...An added little touch to make it all custom ...I'm glad you liked it 11. Update on the final intro I'll be making.. I'm still working on it... The progress is slow.. I'm hoping that with enough motivation I will be able to finish it before the end of Season 5 12. Blink and you'll miss it moment in 4x20 again... While the computer entity is recognising SG-1 by showing their personel files on screen.. It also quickly goes through a bunch of other personel files.. One of them is Lee Van Cleef ...The name is made up.. But the picture next to it is that of Peter DeLuise ...The guy who wrote the episode 13. I see and can agree with both sides on this... I'm on Daniel and Sam's side on this initially... The choice to try and communicate with the entity was the right one to make at first.. It was a risky one as we saw but still ...This however changed when Sam got taken over ...O'neills instinct was to destroy it since he cares about her and given the circumstances if it invaded a person I loved I would very much agree with O'neill's way of doing things ...I'd have zero remorse in watching their world burn if it could bring that person back 14. You wonder what she's typing on.... "Sam" is using a speech synthesizer provided by Dr Frasier.. The keyboard "she" is using is pre-programmed with certain quick responses like yes and no which are most likely used by pushing a macro button assigned to each response.. While the rest of the keyboard allows "her" to talk to SG-1 ....This type of technology is a real thing and often used when patients have lost the ability to speak 15. You might not believe in death on TV shows any more Froots... But I hope that doesn't limit your experience of watching these shows ...Although Sam didn't die... Stargate is one of those franchises where a character's death will in some cases be permanent (Alternate Earth versions don't count as comebacks in my opinion since those are completely different people)

2022-07-28 10:37:49 +0000 UTCSo you preferred episode 20 over 19... I am the opposite. I found re-watching episode 20 a little difficult. Not really a bad episode, it just couldn't keep my interest. The storyline/plot I guess is just one of those that doesn't really interest me. With episode 19 though, even though that particular episode WAS slow and not much happened... it is a "reveal" episode and those are some of my favorite episodes!
