A catheter is a device inserted into your bladder to collect urine without urinating. The device is used in America prior to giving birth. It’s used in the show as a way to prevent the characters from requesting to use the bathroom as an excuse. Also, Phillip briefly mentions that if they don’t do the mission, a building full of people would die. Given they’re in more of a city area, probably hundreds. This is a very complex show that doesn’t treat the audience like idiots, so it’s easy to miss information your first time watching.
