I really wanted this to be good when it premiered on NBC, but your reaction to the first episode was pretty much the same as mine. I was going to apologize for falling asleep during the second episode when I remembered doing the same thing watching this episode live.

2022-10-03 01:59:38 +0000 UTCI actually really liked this show and was very sad when it got cancelled after 1 season. I never watched HSM so I never rated Vanessa Hudgens as an actress I would like but I think she was amazing in this show.

2022-10-03 01:35:28 +0000 UTCI read a story that the original pilot for the show was set at an insurance company for collateral damage in super power fights & every episode would deal with a different claim from a different fight. The NBC network that was going to air the show was interested but not fully invested so they got ordered to tweak the show & create a new pilot which is what you watched here. I do wonder what the the original pilot was like & which was the better choice
