Stargirl S02E13 - Summer School: Chapter Thirteen FULL REACTION

And with that Stargirl season 2 comes to a close. A really great finale. The actor for "Bruce" really is amazing for being so young. Like I wouldn't be surprised, if he ended up getting typecast for creepy characters. Eclipso being defeated by literally being turned into toast, one that's burned to match his face no less, always gives me a good chuckle. Talking about chuckling. I actually laughed out loud when Cindy pushkicked her child-self onto the ground. That was absolutely amazing. And while we're on the topic of amazing, the Shade has slowly but surely become my favorite character on this show. He is just incredibly charming and non chalant about all this most of the time (like for example him "dying" last episode). Also his flare for the dramatic is never not entertaining to watch. Pat was my favorite for a while, but Shade really solidified himself as my new favorite over the course of the season. Overall I think this was an incredibly solid finale for this season and I can't wait to see you react to next season in just about 2 weeks, especially since you're almost binging through it by your standards. Oh yeah ps: Rip Grundy, you will be missed.

The fact that the piece of toast was burnt down one side like Eclipso's face...perfection. And no spoilers but....at least the subtitle of Frenemies for season 3 actually matches the show this time LOL

This was a great season, Eclipso was a great and terrifying villain. It was interesting to see the dark sides of characters like Pat, when he was dealing with Rick's terrible uncle and Courtney, although Eclipso underestimated Courtney's capacity for hope and love, cause she beat him pretty easy. As well as seeing the lighter side of some of the villains like Cindy, the Shade, Grundy and the Crocks. It was sad seeing Grundy die, although it seems like maybe he won't stay that way. I'm glad Shade is sticking around and it will be interesting to see what's happening with Starman and the Crocks being the new neighbors.

My biggest complaint with the season is that they really didn't do anything with Mike after seemingly setting something up E1. I really doubt that dramatic music ending tease was just setting up them kidnapping him My theory is that they originally planned for Eclipso to take over Mike's body for the back half of the season, which would make the " have to kill the host" reveal more tension. But the crew liked the child actor they got for Bruce so they decided to use him instead
