I'm probably way in the minority with this, but somehow I find myself liking Jonas almost more than Daniel.

I just woke up ok? Leave me alone 4. Nah Froots... There's only 4 great races... The Asgard back in Season 2 told O'neill we'd have much to prove before we could be considered one of them ...He ended it with "You have taken the first steps towards becoming.. The Fifth Race" ...Compared to them we're still "very young" as The Nox would say 5. We DID have the discussion... But.. It was The Nox that we figured weren't human ...The Tollans WERE human 6. True... Luckily SG-1 didn't get cancelled after Season 5.. There's still 4 more seasons of SG-1 after this one plus there's Atlantis and Universe as well.. We're bound to find out more about certain things at some point ...The origin of The Ancients most likely being one of those things 7. No worries Froots.. There's NO. SUCH. This whole scene with Teal'c and Jonas getting told to leave is kinda funny.. Teal'c bowing before he leaves... The other one ...Although you're plenty scary too....... Sometimes.. If I keep my eyes closed and pretend you're not you 19. Oh I didn't even realise this episode was directed by Peter Deluise... But look who came walking out the restaurant with a tooth pick in his mouth 20. Daaamn Froots... Why'd you have to go and make a Charlie reference... She got screwed over so bad 21. Carter tapped the syringe and squirted some of the fluid out to get the air out.. That's why they do that shit to syringes.. To get the air out so it doesn't kill the person they inject it with 22. Yeeeeeahh.. Carter just bitchslapped Jonas... I don't remember this episode very well.. But if she's not pretending to be under the influence of the symbiote.. Then she should have hit him MUCH harder ...added later... Yup.. Obvious she was pretending 23. Not a really good episode... But again it continued to build on something that was established a while back ...No worries on not remembering who Conrad was initially.. He very much felt like a one off character.. Very forgettable ...Hell I don't think I remembered him either the first time around

2022-12-25 14:44:03 +0000 UTCRegarding your comment last week about us having a discussion on whether the Tollans are an actual different race or if they are humans; I believe the discussion was actually about the Nox. Who are, indeed, a different alien race. Honestly, I think the discussion about whether the Nox are a different race was mostly because they did a piss poor job of making The Nox look alien enough lol. The Tollans are actually human. The biggest indicator that is this true is actually quite simple really; ask yourself why is Sam and Dr Fraiser so excited about the idea of meeting an alien race that look like humans if the Tollans are already an alien race that look like humans too?

About the Asguard and Ancients both being humanoid, don't forget that the third one we know of, the Nox, are also humanoid, even more so than the Asguard. That's, as far as we know know, every member of the alliance, assuming she was indeed an ancient.

2022-12-24 00:49:09 +0000 UTCtechnically MGM+ won't be a new streaming service. MGM owns the US cable channel Epix which Amazon acquired with their MGM purchase. In January Epix will be rebranded MGM+ but for US people without cable you can sub to MGM+ through Amazon Prime. Since it's US only reports are that a new Stargate show will just be on Amazon Prime video outside of the US since Epix/MGM+ will still be US only. We'll still have to wait for any official announcements to be sure though As for Richard Dean Anderson, he was written out of this episode because he got a new contract that involved less shooting days then the rest of the cast so he could spend more time with his daughter. While being the 5th episode aired this was actually the 1st one shot for the season & Anderson wouldn't be required to show up until the following week where they started shooting the season premiere

A susceptibility to this "vaccine". So, unfortunately it will only work on these specific cloned gould
