The way they "wrap up" the Green Arrow/Canaries stuff makes no sense with that episode set up
Why would a symbol on the Hozen from Lian Yu (a Hozen that's from a Japanese boat btw) have anything to do with Nazi Germany.
Also what's with the "You could always ask your mom for help", did they forget that Felicity went off into heaven with Oliver before the events of the backdoor pilot? It made zero sense
and if this universe ends with William still being kidnapped, that's hilarious but also really disappointing.
What happened to the Deathstokre gang being Mia's main leads?
I feel like whoever wrote this didn't watch the backdoor pilot because it makes like no sense.

that show is already pretty crowded and they may have had plans at some point that just didn't work out like how in s2 and s3 they kept trying to bring in Mari McCabe/Vixen but ultimately never got to do it.

i really am not a fan of this crossover, as much as i love Mia showing up and Ryan showing up, the rest of the story is a mess.

Well this is still the same Eobard from the end of season 7. While it's obviously arguable whether he should've looked like Cavanagh back then (personally I think he shouldn't have), it does make sense for him to have Wells' face here in Armageddon, since he did in season 7.

On a scale of Strongest to Weakest, how would you rank this crossover comaped to the rest?

Here's a list of things that happened with villains (as far as I recall)
Season 1 - Eddie Thawne literally kills himself to basically erase Thawne from the timeline
Season 2 - Team Flash sets up to Zoom to be taken by the time wraiths
Season 3 - Iris shoots Savitar
Season 4 - DeVoe is erased from Ralph's mind
Season 5 - American Pie is killed by Cicada 2.0 and Cicada 2.0 is erased from existence
In season 6 Bloodwork is imprisoned, but I don't really care to remember the other villains. Basically none of the villains survived in the first five seasons (with the exception of Thawne continuously coming back), so I don't know why it suddenly isn't ok to allow a villain to be erased from existence when it's happened plenty of times before (plus it doesn't really make sense for him to be alive every time he comes back).

I was OK for this story line.
Not the greatest but it was interesting and I always love some cameos.
I get the decision they made and I feel it was inline with how Barry would act.
The only thing that bothers me is minor but still annoying. Why does Thawne look like Wells here.
Since he killed Barry as a child and always had his speed he would have no reason to take on the persona of Wells.
He should just look like Thawne.
As for "Kevin" being different that could easily be explained as an Reverse Flash Point butterfly effect from killing Barry as a child.

Its possible Crisis never happened in that time line. Thawne could have prevented Nash from freeing the Anti-Monitor. Which would have made Thawne the greatest hero of all time as he would have saved the lives of an infinite number of universes. Food for thought.

I still have no clue why they brought Mia back and didn't use it to wrap up William's story.

Look... I get that I am in the minority here. I would be in favor of keeping him alive. Ik Ik! But here me out. While they have shown that Thawne could come back may times, they have also shown that they can keep him captive for a long period of time. They held Thawne for 15 years in Iron Heights and the only way he escaped was with Nora's help and even then he still needed his speed to escape.
Will he probably escape? Yeah because (Press "TV Shows gotta TV show" button here). I still would have voted to keep him alive. Not because it would ruin team Flash or anything cheesy like they wanted, but because losing his powers is the last thing Thawne would want. Plus then you could rub it in his face everyday that he lost. Also I mean torture is worse than death too so there is that. Get that guy who was shocking him to come back! He was doing a good job.
I think that there should have been a caveat to them keeping Thawne alive. If Thawne were to escape or get his powers back, Barry needs to make a commitment to killing him. Under those conditions, I would have been fine letting Thawne live. Granted they will probably just throw him in a cell until later this season or next season when he inevitably escapes.
TLDR: In theory I am actually okay with Thawne being left alive; however, everyone knows he is just gonna escape because it is a TV show.

Joe wasnt out of character, he did that in season 2 because he was protecting himself (or thought he was). He doesnt want Barry to become like that, he doesnt want him to have it on his hands when he could have saved him. Thats why Barry is better then Thawne, Barry would save him even when they are each others biggest enemy.

Time travel shenanigans arent simple. Its never been consistent either. Its just something we have to accept on the show sadly.

Okay this crossover was the weakest one from the one we got before saving thawne is so stupid and dumb he has done awful things though the arrowverse Joe was acting out of character back in season 2 he literally took out his gun and shoot harry because he thought he was reverse flash
Things he he has done Killing Barry mother Killing Cisco and bunch of other people Eddie killing himself so thawne could be erased Helping the Nazis from earth x take over earth 1 try to rewrite reality and erased a version of Nora from the timeline he is one of the heartless villain in the arrowverse and you want to save him just let him die you not killing him
Honestly this event isn't good part 4 and 5 weren't really the strongest it's was good seeing Ryan and Alex but if am being honest they didn't do anything especially Mia Ray and Black lightning at least have some kind of a role
We finally got gold boots took 8 seasons but we finally got them and I also like how we got a new reverse flash suit even though I think they should get of him and think of something please thawne isn't cool anymore hasn't been since season 4 if am being honest
I don't care about the Chester and Allegra relationship like who gives a crap I will answer literally no one cares
There was some cool stuff like Barry fighting despero in this was pretty cool seeing ray and Jefferson again was good also seeing Ryan and Iris friendship I actually like if I'm being honest I just like seeing Ryan because she my favorite arrowverse character so seeing her one more time before the show end I will take it
Overall this crossover/event wasn't bad but wasn't very good also Bart and Nora what are you doing wait these are Barry kids so I'm not surprise so screw up the timeline because consequences aren't an thing anymore so good job guys but at least is not bad as season 7

Also taking away Thawne speed didn’t make any sense, cuz from what I’ve gathered throughout the show is that his negative speed force was keeping him from being erased from existence which made him a time paradox. So now that he lost his powers shouldn’t he still be erasing through existence, Thawne ancestor is dead and he’s never born like writers need to get their story together

I wanna say my opinion about this crossover it had some great moments. I loved seeing Barry as reverse flash, he looked great as the villain. I loved seeing black lightning and Atom make an appearance and i loved that we finally have the gold boots. However it wasn’t really that great, some of the CGI was trash, some of the characters were useless in the 5 parter. And I honestly didn’t care about Chester and Allegra relationship overall I would give this mini crossover a 6.5/10 or 7/10

This 5 part special was heavily advertised as that year's crossover. It isn't quite a normal annual crossover, but does have tons of guest stars at least. You of course, went in without any of that.

The writing not making sense, but cool moments here and there can be used to describe a lot of The Flash. Overall, I enjoyed the crossover.
Ryan Choi all of a sudden being single could be a Crisis change. That's the best excuse I can think of, but I shouldn't have to think of excuses when the show has a writer's room that's supposed to keep continuity.
I've grown to like Chester and Allegra, but the writers have yet to make them likeable to where I care about them outside of scenes with Barry and Iris. Any scenes with Chester and Allegra outside of that comes across as filler to me.

You know, I was thinking that letting Thawne die would have been a perfect opportunity to reference Batman Begins: "I won't kill you but I don't have to save you." Oh well...
Look, it's a prime time show and the Flash is known as a hero, a role model, someone that never resorts to killing, etc. So I get why they went the route of saving Thawne but I do agree that some villains just need to be put down, permanently. I guess this was just the wrong show to look for that to happen though.
Overall, I thought Armageddon was a bit clunky. But it was still definitely a lot better than most, if not all of season 7.

Overall I really honestly love the Armageddon storyline.
It's time travel shenanigans are a bit weird but Flash's time travel hasn't been consistent since season 1 so that's not something I pay much mind to anymore.
Regarding letting Thawne live. It's very clearly gonna carry some consequences, I'm sure even Barry knows that but like Joe and Allegra said it's less about what what it does to Thawne and more about what it does to Barry.
Letting a villain die despite knowing a way to definitively save their life is often compared to killing the person yourself in superhero media. It's one of the reasons Batman keeps saving the Joker or why Spider-Man goes out of his way to save villains when the occasion arises. Even Barry himself has saved villains multiple times on this show. Mirror Monarch, Cicada, hell he even tried to save Savitar in the season 3 finale. I think it would be more out of character for Barry to not save Thawne, by this point. Especially when saving Thawne involves disconnecting him from the negative speedforce, which essentially turns him into a 77-100 year old man, as I've explained in a comment under Part 4's reaction.
But enough of Thawne, let's talk about Despero. I really liked Despero as a villain, very well acted and the CGI on his alien form was really nice. The fight between Flash and Despero in Part 5 might be one of my favorite fights in the shows history. Seeing Barry utilize such a wide array of powers to beat Despero was really cool.
But the big thing this episode has to be the gold boots. They truly complete the outfit. With this the current Flash suit has officially been elevated to the best live action Flash suit in the character's history. And since I didn't mention it in last episode's comments, I also really like the new Reverse Flash suit. Finally Thawne and Barry wear matching outfits again. Haven't seen that since Crisis on Earth-X.
Overall, while Armageddon isn't a perfect story, obviously, I get way too much enjoyment out of it, to do anything but love it.

The black flash or wraith died a long time ago. Also time travel has never been consistent in this universe. I notice you get more critical and judgmental with the flash than other shows.

I think the writing on legends is overall better than the flash. They write good characters with good character development and they do great emotional arcs and moments perfectly

I completely understand joe. Barry doesnt let people die, even his worst enemy. It would be out of character for barry to just let him die when he can help him.

I honestly didn't watch any of your reactions to this 5 part "event", and only watched the last part of this episode to see what your thoughts as a whole were, because I really didn't enjoy this 5-part event and didn't want to torture myself.
Ryan Choi was supposed to be the new Atom in L.o.T but never came to fruition, quite literally nothing was said to why it never happened.
