The Flash S08E13 - Death Falls FULL REACTION

I'm wondering why Cecile didn't try to project positive emotions/love onto Caitlin to slow down her transformation? We saw Cecile project emotions onto Top in a previous episode. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the situation? In terms of Caitlin and Frost being the same person, I feel like over time, they took away Caitlin's personality and gave it to Frost. I'm not a fan of how they cut away from Frost dying to show the title card and then announce her death in a post credits scene. It took me out of the scene and cut the emotion for me. I feel like this choice works better on paper, like a comic book, rather than in a tv show.

I guess I just feel like Frost's death is out of the blue. It's hard to feel sad because it feels like a stunt from the writers to say ha, see? We can still bring the stakes. But the thing is, we still have Caitlin. And if Caitlin died, we would still have Frost, so it's not like some version of the actresses' character isn't around. It's also like ok, so what's wrong with Iris this season? All the writers seem to know to do with her lately is put her in danger, from being either in another dimension, or have some sort of sickness that threatens her life, so that Barry has a reason to fight for her.

Yeah I kinda agree Caitlin dying would be more impactful than frost death but the blue lightning at the end is cool because that's was frost color when she gained speed in that one episode in season 7 The concept of grief is a interesting thing to do I'm glad they show Oliver because that's death is the biggest and I'm glad they mention it I mean the man started the arrowverse so thank you to the flash for giving him respect I didn't want frost to die I wanted Allegra and Chester to die by death Strom and then the show can bring back Cisco, Ralph or wally just someone likeable and fans like I mean hell I will take Julian so Caitlin can be happy and have a good boyfriend and not a villain or someone boring Cecile thank you for hugging Caitlin Cisco better come back because if he doesn't I wil be pissed off

Oh she's Allegra's cousin?? My bad Froots... Unlike you.. I don't really care.. So I thought that was her sister it was pretending to be... Again.. My bad.. I didn't know you cared so much about Allegra Yeah I agree that it should have been Caitlin who should have died there ...A character who was there from day one would have that much more of an impact and out of the 2 of them (Caitlin and Frost) I liked Frost more anyways ...Plus like you said it would have given the Frost character more growth ...But nah... Let's keep Caitlin instead... Who... Honestly feels kinda useless if she's not being the team doctor

Im so sad frost died. Shes one of my favorite characters. Caitlin really is the punching bag in this series. I feel so bad for her. I love how much frost really means to everyone. Why do you care so much about the flashbacks? They only last a few seconds. Also its just the style the producers use now. It doesnt go away either. I just ignore them tbh I have to say i love that Nora has become a reoccurring character that comes back every so often when they need help. I really like Nora. The old lady giving barry a butterscotch is one of my favorite scenes in the series. It was so wholesome and i would love to see more interactions like this. I love fun episodes like this. Barry getting old is so fun.

Regarding the whole science mumbo-jumbo and specifically black holes having extra dimensional particles. It does make sense within the confines of the Arrowverse. The singularity in which Deathstorm was born, also originally opened the dimensional breaches between earth-1 and earth-2. Breach energy is a form of extra dimensional particles, as they connect the entire multiverse so logically the singularity itself and thus also Deathstorm would have traces of extra dimensional particles. It's not actual science, but it is internally consistent with what we know about the singularity from season 1. Really appreciate that after everything that's happened Barry did actually truly accept his mother's death. And, while hurtful to see again, I also like that the show didn't ignore all the other losses Barry had to witness. Again, it's this feeling of the world actually feeling lived in, where events don't just get forgotten because they happened "only" a couple years earlier. Joe's vision of the person who died was his former partner before Eddie. The one shot by Clyde Marton in the pilot episode of the show. Well... rest in peace Frost. I'm impressed the show actually had the guts to kill off part of the main cast. When I first watched the episode it honestly didn't hit me much either, until the after credits scene. Seeing everyone break down after hearing Frost died hit me in the feels.
