The Lizard looking dudes are Trandoshans. They are the enemies of the Wookies. Many Wookies were captured under the Empires rule and put in slavery by the Trandoshans. Some Wookies, like Black Krrsantan (the mean looking one here) were forced to fight in gladiator arenas. He eventually escaped from them and became a bounty hunter, but he never forgot the torture at their hands. That is why he attacked the ones in the bar. Seeing them having fun was too much for him.
