If you want to be completely caught up, you could watch Star Wars I and II, since this series takes place in between II and III. Nothing else is needed and even without those I think you can follow them pretty well.

The clone troopers with orange (which sometimes looks kind of yellowish) are under Obi-Wan's command, with Commander Cody as their top ranking clone.

I think you'd be safe to watch along since you're probably as close to knowledgeable about Star Wars as she is (or I am for that matter). It's selected in a special order since according to David (the person selecting it) this makes the most sense.
