No reason to think DNA damage. Just plain old physical damage from both massive drug exposure and extreme physical stress. I agree that them being locked together for so long is the cause, though.

2024-01-25 21:01:52 +0000 UTCI imagine the physical changes to Ford are not just from the enzyme but also that he was physically connected to that wraith as they both almost died when they fell into the ocean. They were locked together for days under the water. Might have resulted in some DNA damage to Ford.
