It was the CREATION. of the singularity that powered the supergate ...NOT. the end result of creating it ....Thus I am left to wonder HOW. an ALREADY. EXISTING. black hole would be able to "power" a gate ...I'm all onboard with the black hole keeping the gate OPEN. indefinitely ...But POWERING it when there's no creation involved??? ...I dunno about that .....I feel like the writers just kinda shrugged on this and went "Sure... Why not?" .....Then again ...We're dealing with a sci-fi show where a lot of things on the show are still very much theoretical ...Sooooo.... Sure... Why not? 2. Ok yeah... You're talking about the Harsesis ...The son of Apophis and Amunet/Sha're ...Which would apparently for SOME. reason have all the knowledge of the Goa'uld ...I'm not sure how that would even work ...I'd say the kid had the knowledge of Apophis/Amunet ...But I feel like the writers went a bit overboard stating it would be the knowledge of ALL. the Goa'uld ...Or maybe it was not meant to be taken THAT. literal ....But anyways ...Even a Goa'uld individual would STILL. either have to experience an event OR. have to be told about it in order for them to know about it ...They're NOT. all-knowing ....That's why the Ba'al clone was clueless about certain things until later 3. Alright... Note reading part over ....Time to get into the cabin episode ...UGH... And I have to watch this TWICE. ......Someone grab a duck gun and squeeze twice please 4. Good eye Froots ...Yup that's the same set location for "O'neills cabin" that they used before at the end of Season 8 ....The lake with "no fish" is on the other side of the cabin ...I say good eye cause we never really saw this side of the cabin before 5. Michael Shanks was absent from this episode and the previous one cause he and Lexa had a kid on the way and he asked for some time off... BIG. sad ....Cause I WOULD. have PREFERRED. an episode where Daniel just reads a bunch of books for 42 minutes instead of THIS. 6. Calm the fuck down Landry ...Fat kid jokes are pretty funny ...I particularly liked ones I saw in some ARK gameplay videos on YouTube recently ...BUT... I think you kind of had to have BEEN. a fat kid to be allowed to make the jokes .....And that YouTuber did look kinda chubby 7. Ok that's kinda odd but perhaps not THAT. odd considering these shows are filmed in Vancouver... I finished the edit for Batwoman 2x14 about an hour ago and it had some racist cop character in there played by an actor who I thought looked familiar ...And here he is again in this very episode playing good old Colonel Reynolds ...I know ...That name probably means nothing to you ...But he's been in 16 episodes of SG-1 so he looked familiar to me when I saw him on Batwoman 8. Colonel Reynolds to Teal'c: "So if an animal didn't pull these people apart, what did?" ...You: "Yo momma! ....I'll see myself out" .....Bish ...I nearly spat out my Pepsi 9. Not gonna lie... Minus the boring company ...I would LOVE. to be in that cabin during that storm ...I'd probably be sitting on the porch just watching and listening to the storm ....Something about storms at night calms me down ..Dunno why 10. Man... They're hunting monsters in the woods ...This episode would be SO. MUCH. better if a Winchester showed up to help 11. Aight... I guess we got an explanation as to why we're not using the Sodan cloaking devices ....Apparently we had to modify it cause it was giving off radiation lethal to humans when in use for long periods of time ....And modifying it caused those bugs to be able to get into our dimension ......Sooooo... Yeah ...No cloaks for us 12. It's kind of rude that they keep shutting Vala down ...She appears to have some experience dealing with catching dangerous creatures (or so she says) ...I mean it was still kinda funny how she kept coming up with good ideas ...But also annoying they didn't take her serious 13. You: "Sorry I don't have much to say about this episode, I'm just a bit bored" ....No worries ...It'll make editing this shit that much easier 14. Yeah Mitchell!! Vala is right! Rule #2: Never approach a creature thinking it's dead ...That's pretty much the equivalent of always shoot the killer in the head! 15. YIP. ....I 100% AGREE. with you Froots ...This episode was BORING. .....But... It's time for the 200th episode!! Not a whole lot of shows get this far ...Let's see what kinda shannanigans SG-1 finds themselves in this time!

2024-05-15 16:57:48 +0000 UTCAnd this talk of the real Ba'al keeps bothering me. Why would it make the slightest difference who is the original? The clones would have all the knowledge he has up to the point of their cloning and so know the entire reason he made them. I just don't see where it makes any difference. Maybe I'm missing something.

Here we have a nice little item that makes finding an errant Ba'al very easy. Why would they remove such a thing.? I can see maybe one to check on whether there's any hidden agenda in there but beyond that it seems useful to keep them in place.
