Now the show's starting to move away from "look at our character's cool adventures in war" to some more mature topics of discussion. Corrupt politians letting citizens suffer to make more money, to the point of poisoning children, while a fairly simple plotline on the surface, does show how TCW is willing to move into darker territory for its subject matter.
