This is something that comic book fans probably wanted for a while (regardless of anyone's opinion of Iron Fist before). In the comics, Luke and Danny were best friends and actually had their own personal security firm, like Matt and Foggy, called Heroes for Hire. They were a famous duo, like Misty and Colleen were as the Daughters of the Dragon. Danny and Misty were also married in the comics... but I feel like having him with Colleen in these shows made more sense. Wish there were more of these team-ups.

2023-07-11 19:16:30 +0000 UTCWell, it was an episode later than expected but there he is, Mr. Ironfist. Yeah, it’s weird but I like Danny better here than in his own show. I hope that a good sign for Ironfist Season 2. Sorry but the fight between Misty and the corrupt cop was not exactly suspenseful. One side we have an unarmed corrupt cop surrounded by legit police. On the other we have Misty Knight, someone we know can fight with Winter Warriors arm. I like the stuff here between Luke and Danny, but when Danny was explaining to Luke at Columbia University why they had to “go up high”, all I could picture was Obi Wan watching and nodding….High ground baby. Turk is back. The one character that’s in every Netflix Marvel show. Finally, some super fighting. The Patty=Cake maneuver was VERY kewl. I think you are right Shan; this whole season Shades has been telling Mariah she needs to get dirty. Well she finally did but she went so dark it seems to be turning him away. They still need to work on the ratio of fight scenes to dialog. More action. But still, over I liked this one. I like the whole series, could it be better … YES. But still better than a lot of other shows I’ve watched.
