Wrong Froots ....I DO indeed have a Teal'c avatar in VRChat ...So IF we wanted to compare it to the one used in the VR episode then we could do it ...Sadly though none of the other SG-1 members were seen as VR avatars in the episode 2. We'll find out in about 22 weeks whether or not this entire first scene of the episode will get blocked cause of the song .....But ....Who's the man? ...Who's the man? (song in the beginning of the episode) 3. Teal'c was supposed to stay under the radar.. To go around and help people was kinda counterproductive .....It's like Daniel said ...Normally humans are not so inclined to get involved in other peoples business ....So for Teal'c to be running around and do something so un-human-like ...He's standing out ......He was wrong for doing it but it was for the wrong reason ...The world could use more people like Teal'c ...Helping people ...But yeah ....Most humans look the other way ..It's a very real thing 4. And you're welcome by the way ...Although I highly suspected you wouldn't even notice ....I DID.. JUST to be safe ...Blur out Erica Durance's name in the credits ...Her name popped up during a scene where it would have been very difficult NOT to notice GHUGE letters on the screen 5. Also this episode came out a month before her debut on Smallville ..Just a tiny side note 6. Suuuuure Stalker Pete ....This is what?? Your 2nd episode on the show ...Let's try and put a ring on Carter's finger ..Why not 7. Eeeeehhhmmmm.... So it SEEMS our boy "T" has slept with Lois at a motel ....It's probably for the best that mah dude moved back to the SGC at the end of the episode ....I wonder if the SGC's walls are lined with lead 8. Soooo as I've told you previously the art/props department started putting secret messages in the show sometimes with the Ancient writing ....Welp... Daniel just got a message on his computer in Ancient writing ....The translation literally says "Actual words are hard to deciph so thisll work" .......Apparently Daniel is NOT. "The one man on Earth who can translate it" ....Cause I with a little help from a cheat sheet (my Ancient is a bit rusty.. I used to be able to read this shit without the cheat sheet) I was able to read what it said .........Obscure dialect my ass! 9. (said with the most stoic of faces ever) yaaay carter said yes to pete's proposal ....i'm so fucking excited for theeem /sarcasm 10. In my head canon the kid putting the symbol on his skateboard as a sign of respect to Teal'c was ok... I think Teal'c continues to wear the Apophis symbol not cause it's a sign of his former god (and cause the show can more easily market Teal'cs look WITH the symbol than without) ...But rather that he defeated his former god ...He's made a symbol that once had power over him.. The symbol of someone that enslaved him and his people ...And he turned it into a statement ....Something like "I die free" ....I dunno... It makes sense to me that way

2023-07-16 15:53:41 +0000 UTCWe've had to deal with this unnamed group of corrupt individuals that involves rogue NID agents, government officials and powerful businessmen since the start of the series. However, one of the things that annoyed me whenever we had a storyline that involved them was that, for the most part, this group has been nameless which made it difficult to really visualise who the bad guys were or to even refer to this group whenever you want to talk about them. One of the things I'm glad this episode did was give this group an official name. 'The Trust' is what this group calls itself now as stated by Daniel when he was in the van. They should have given them a name a long time ago but better late than never I suppose.

I don't think my mental filters are on tight today so this old man will stop before it gets creepy and I have to hear it read back next week. As to the episode, I saw this way back before I knew who Erica was. It might be the episode I have rewatched the most. And your reaction when you saw her actually stole my attention from her. Quite a feat.

2023-07-12 17:05:52 +0000 UTCI think it was on the season 8 DVD's, maybe Season 7, they had some special features called 'Beyond The Gate" showing the cast doing stuff in their free time in between seasons. For Michael Shanks he participated as part of a Stargate team against a Smallville team in charity hockey game. The teams were mostly made up the crews of the shows. The played the game the posed for some pictures. I believe Shanks said it was a series of charity games with a bunch of teams from shows shot in Canada

2023-07-12 16:18:18 +0000 UTCYes the Oculus Quest is the Meta Quest. I knew people in real life that wanted nothing to do with the Quest VR because you needed a Facebook account to log into. I'm guessing a lot more people must've felt that way because mark Zuckerberg renamed that Facebook parent company to Meta, changed the unit name to the Meta Quest & I think eliminated the need to have a Facebook account to log in As for this week, the new hair looks great

2023-07-12 15:54:15 +0000 UTCYour hair and outfit looks beautiful on you. I really like it! I have to say... I think tealc looks so good with his hair. I really enjoyed this episode. They experimented with the formula and gave us a tealc centric episode. It makes sense to try and do a bit more experimental episodes in season 7, 8 and so on for the later seasons. I actually like when they have episodes of just their normal lives. We see them do so much work that sometimes its just nice to see what these characters do on earth for a change. I dont mind Jerry Russo in this show, i dont hate him or love him. Hes just meh, i love him in wizards tho.
